“Had the schnitzel with dill sauce with a side of the dill pickle soup. The soup was excellent, could drink a bucket of that. The schnitzel and accoutrements however was unremarkable, not really meeting my expectation for the price. I also had the black forest cake which was far better than I expected.“
“Had a second date supper there Saturday evening and am glad the other place we wanted to go was full, it was great!There is plenty of space between tables which I really appreciate and we got lucky getting a corner booth near the back that gave a view of the entire place and still felt private.Our server Kyle was amazing, just so on the ball, great waiter. Created an iced coffee for me with what he has on hand and it turned out amazingly delicious, I will be buying vanilla oat milk!The appetizers we had were the aranccini (oh em jee YUM!!), the lamb popsicles (holy eff delicious!!) And the calamari (not a nice presentation and sadly too salty and were removed from the bill which was nice). We then moved onto the braised beef pizza to share which was quite tasty (the cheeses in every dish were quality!) although I found the beef a bit dry. The carrot cake for dessert was quite tasty although it was a bit different having a sort of tangy lemony zest in the icing that was a little strange but still enjoyable.All in all a great experience and honestly for me the service in a restaurant is AS important as the food so we will return for sure thanks to Kyle! “This is by far the best restaurant we have been to in Edmonton!! (And we have been to a lot of them) the food is fabulous and the service is second to none! We will be back for sureDietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy and they accommodated it fabulously!! Usually restaurants just leave things off my plate rendering my meal tasteless. XIX made my dinner fabulous! The chef is excellent! My husband who has no allergies also enjoyed his dinner. We will definitely tell everyone we khow how good this place is.“

“I had arranged with Holly, the manager to host my boyfriend’s birthday party here for 19 people. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Holly was extremely quick to respond to my Emails and arrangements. The wait staff were incredible! Fast, friendly, efficient. The food is SOOOO GOOD! Everyone enjoyed their food. The portions look small, but it’s REALLY FILLING!!!! And worth every dollar. By far my favourite restaurant to date. Others at the table said XIX nineteen is in their top 5 favourite restaurants. Huge shout out to their kitchen staff for making delicious food and having it ready so quickly for our group. And shout out to the serving staff for being so kind, and efficient. “Fantastic! Great food! Great service! Great friends! A definite repeat to try some different dishes. Almost forgot to take some pictures of the food, it smelt and looked so good we dove right in.
