“I preordered a pizza for pickup and when I got there, they realized that they put an incorrect ingredient. They made a new one for me asap, and let me keep the other pizza. I was willing to take the original pizza as-is, but they insisted that they make me a new one. Didn’t have to do that since I had already told them it was okay. I appreciate them letting me know they made the mistake and wouldn’t let me leave without the new pizza.“

“The bulgogi rice dish here has been one of my all time comfort foods for a whole decade! I love it so much that I’ve never had the desire to order anything else as my main. Sometimes I get a green onion cake to share, and it’s super yummy as well!

I really appreciate how reliable and consistent Steel Wheels has been. Over the years, the portion sizes, quality, and service has always remained the same. Maybe the cost has gone up but I think that’s most things in the world rn.

If you want to experience what a food joint around Seoul’s university area is like, then this is the place. The layout of booths, and aesthetic is nearly indistinguishable to the tourist friendly places in and around Hongdae.

It does get extremely busy at times but that’s apart of its charm. Even when there is a line out the door, the staff are always remain courteous and on top of things. Overall they seem like very genuine people too.

The only complaint I have, that isn’t really my own, is that the tofu meal is a bit misleading , which can cause some issues for people who don’t eat meat. I knew someone who ordered it thinking it wouldn’t have meat, but it did and he got quite sick because of it (he can’t digest meat). However he did rave about how good it was when he was eating it haha. He ordered it again but asked for no meat and all was well that time, but still, it may be worth it to have a clear disclaimer on the menu.

An added bonus for this place would be to collaborate with a bingsu truck in the summertime :) !!“

“Just had a delivery from our local pizza restaurant, Grandma Pizza. Paid for the order, and the delivery guy, an older man with grey hair, after being tipped quite well for the delivery, proceeded to the next floor in the stairwell, and took a huge pee in the stairwell. I saw his delivery case on the upper stairs, hear him pee,, then he went off that floor down the elevator, and into the night. You sent I have never been more disgusted by the attitude of this man, he could have asked to use our bathroom, but instead chose to urinate in our stairwell. Called the restaurant, spoke with the manager, he said "Oh Shit", and hung up. You sent We have dealt with you and your restaurant for over 15 years, this delivery driver needs to be terminated, NOW!“

“The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. I have chosen to go to Bravo Pizza as it is very close to my work, I am able to eat in under an hour. I have tried a number of different dishes and have liked them all. When I enter the restaurant I am greeted right away by the hosts ( who call me boss, which I like very much).. The wings were huge and tasty and the prices were pretty good considering the economy these days. We were going to order Domino's, however; we are very glad we decided to try this place. We would rather support an independent family business compared to a corporation that doesn't care about the consumer. These small restaurants very rarely let the consumer down. The person working was polite and wants to know how they did. Will definitely be ordering from here again. I suggest giving this place a try compared to corporate pizza places.“

“Came by here few days ago for pizza take out. Brad was super friendly and communicative over the phone, and even more superb in person! We asked for gelato recommendations and he definitely served! Love the flavour we got! Brad went the extra mile to make our experience here wonderful and this is for take out! On a side note, hard to find parking during lunch hour rush. However, plenty of parking after lunch. There is a lot right in front of the restaurant.“
