I worked downtown for many many years, and was always aware of the Rose & Crown's existence, but had never been in. I found myself in the area before the Lady Gaga concert, looking for some food and drink.... but wasn't smart enough to realize that everything would be booked up.
Fantastic place run by fantastic people. The Rose and Crown in Edmonton on 103rd is the perfect spot for a raw, unforgettable weekend experience of live music by great performers and every interaction with any member of the staff will leave you wanting more. Since Zach left it isn’t quite the same, but his replacement Jordan brings his own humble, hard working, and loveable personality to work every night representing this fine establishment extremely well as did his predecessor....read full review

Great place to hang out with friends or just have a quiet drink alone (depending on when you go). Great music, fantastic staff and chill atmosphere. I've gone quite a few times and quickly became a big fan of the place. I've had many memorable and unmemorable times at this bar. Love it!
