Calm place to get Filipino food but it can be a bit pricey
Big Filipino grocery store in Scarborough! If you miss Philippines or Filipino food just come visit here! They have lots of selections! You can find all the ingredients for cooking Filipino food! They have lots of fresh fish! I got fresh shrimp! There are some groceries that you can find cheaper at other Asian store though! Two days ago, we were in Toronto and decided to go to Seafood City, Scarborough to buy fried smelts. A pound of fried smelts is $15.99 + tax. It literally filled the take-out box. It was delicious and crunchy. It was not hard to bite. BTW, it came with three small tubs of spicy vinegar. I guess we will finish for days because there are so many.
