“The Feast in the Box exceeded my expectations. I had placed a phone order and am I ever glad that I did - that place was slammed which is a testament to their business and the food hall in general. It was ready as soon as I walked in and I was pleasantly surprised when I went to lift the very hefty box. When I got home, I was pleased by the perfectly cooked eggs (runny egg yolks make a great sauce) and the delicious variety in cooked meats. It served three very hungry people with a bit left over for lunch tomorrow. Portions: great; flavours: great; service: great!“

“We recently hired Mayettes for our small gathering, and they exceeded every expectation. From the initial inquiry (3days before) to the day of the event, their communication was prompt, clear, and professional. Tita was accommodating with our requests, helped us refine the menu to fit our guests’ needs, and made the planning process surprisingly stress-free.

Aside from the professional and friendly service, the real standout was the food—it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and served at the right temperature. We had guests that commented on how much they enjoyed the food and asked where we ordered from. We ordered the Beef Steak (with lots of sweet onions), Chicken skewers, Pancit with lots of veggies and Chicken Lumpiang Shanghai with just the right amount of sauce!

It’s rare to find a caterer who delivers both exceptional service and incredible food, but Mayettes did exactly that.

I wish I can have all the food, but I can only buy two or 3 Arrizcaldo is also the best. It’s a very cosy place you need to eat here. “Good Filipino takeout place close to Markham and Mcnicoll. Known for pre-ordering to takeout for parties and such. The Lumpia Shanghai is very good. The pancit bihon is also tasty. The bbqs do not have a lot of fat which is great. Masarap!“

“This by far is our favourite bakery for their pandesal, ensaymada and pandecoco. They also have monay, bread pudding, macarons, ube and mocha cake slices, also kakanins like puto, kutsinta, biko, sapin-sapin and buko pies. In the summer… their halo-halo is to die for. Order it with ice cream on top and you would be gushing after ‘cause it’s out of this world! Go and check Baker’s Best, and you’ll be back over and over again!“
