TRULY local grocery store with great customer service. Much of their produce and meats are grown in Alberta on their own farms/greenhouses plus are excellent quality so there is little to no waste and I know that the food was grown to Canadian health standards. I got a fresh turkey for Easter and everyone was raving about how moist and flavourful it was and asked me for my recipe (it was the quality of the turkey, not the recipe). Yes, it cost more, but it was worth every penny....
I love Sunterra Market. It's a great selection of ready made meals, the best orange juice in the City and green onion cakes that are the closest thing to the Mongolian Food Experience from yesteryear...
