Amazing food and great service. The fish entree was very delicious and the Korean chicken was so good and very tasty. A definitely a great place for lunch or dinner. After the meal, don’t forget for a great dessert. Overall the food is extraordinary and definitely very unique. Make a point to visit this place, located in south side.

Under the new ownership we have been very disappointed at every single time we've been here. From the lack of local beers, to quality of the menu, and quality of the serving staff and kitchen. We have stopped coming here which is too bad because we live in the neighborhood

The current rating of this restaurant needs to be updated to accurately reflect the reviews which have been posted since new owners took over. In reviewing the postings since new ownership, it is clear that there are many ongoing issues which need to be addressed. My personal experience would rate this restaurant in the minus range for many of the reasons already noted by previous diners.

Quiet restaurant. I wanted to try for the first time as Jacks Grill was so good and fine dining. The Glass Monkey wasn't my cup of tea but it has potential.

Brunch at The Glass Monkey in Edmonton was fantastic! Got the smoked salmon Eggs Benny—perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and crispy hashbrowns. My friend raved about the Nutella pancakes with fresh berries. Cozy vibe, super friendly staff, and food came out fast. A bit pricey at ~$35 each, but totally worth it. Can’t wait to try dinner here!!!

Very unorganized . Will consider trying it one more time , but owners need to be more involved . Servers were extremely busy and I did not see any upper management helping out .

We took our family of 6 here for our anniversary. We have frequented the restaurant many times over the years. The menu is very limited compared to the previous owners but the old menu is still on the web site. Very disappointing. The butter chicken was good ( which is the only reason for 2 stars) but the “fresh” choice I had was not. It was greasy and lacked flavour. The worst part was the service. The restaurant wasn’t full. We had been there 15 minutes before someone came and asked us if we had seen a server yet. And it didn’t improve from there. The Glass Monkey was never an inexpensive restaurant and the new owners seem to think they can charge the same prices for substandard food and service. Because there were 6 of us, there was an automatic gratuity of 20%. We have no issue paying 20% when we get good service but last night we did NOT get good service. It’s too bad that we won’t be back to what was once a great neighbourhood place to frequent.

The atmosphere gets a 2 unfortunately due to the state of the women’s washroom. It hadn’t been cleaned, bins overflowing and there was a stench that made one gag. Not good.
