The staff there were so kind and patient with my grandmother today, and the food was of course delicious - just another reason to keep frequenting this Cafe. I followed them from the south side and I'd follow them again!
Owner/workers very friendly, kind and welcoming. Not too busy which very nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Was very clean. Waffles were made from scratch and fresh! My roommate said they were delicious and her reaction to her first bite was priceless! I had a London fog and the drink was absolutely delicious. No vanilla & didn’t need sweetner because it was made perfectly. Glad they had milk alternative options. (Almond, oat, soy or coconut) Great little location. If you don’t...read full review
Used to come here as a kid for the SnoBobs and was happy to see they still do them. Was surprised to see the cafe in there (it’s been a while since I was last over there) and am definitely going to be stopping in for lunch there soon! Their menu looks amazing and the staff in there tonight telling us about the menu and the cafe hours were great! What a great hidden gem in the city!

Frank's Redwood Specialty Waffle Café is a hidden gem that serves unique and delicious food with a lovely taste. The menu offers a variety of options, including the popular BLT Delight, sweet and savory croffles, and the Nutella waffle. The café features a bright and clean atmosphere with plenty of seating, as well as countless coffee and tea options, including specialty coffees and custom foam art. Friendly staff and easy parking make it a great alternative to other breakfast spots. The food is fantastic, and the artwork adds charm. Waffles are light and fluffy, and the croffles are very crispy and a bit messy, but well worth the stop. The chicken club with egg is a delightful waffle sandwich that melts in the mouth, and the coffee is very mild and not bitter at all. The café also offers non-dairy and decaf choices to accommodate dietary restrictions. Wheelchair access is available on the main floor, though the entrance has a small lip. An automatic tip may be added to orders.
