The renovation is very nice and was much needed. We like the higher booth,feels a little more private. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla ,it was bland and on the cold side. Wasn’t impressed with it ,won’t get that again. My wife ordered the street tacos which she usually loves but they also where on the cold side and not as tasty has had been in the past. Seemed like it took longer than usual to get our food
We went to Joey’s after the new renovations, and were pleasantly surprised by the uplifting and attractive decor!We ordered calamari and clam chowder for appetizers, and both were excellent.We had the fish sandwich and chicken sandwich as mains. The plating is innovative, if a bit restrictive.The meals were good enough, but the buns were a tad burnt, and the brown rice a wee bit dry.For desserts, we ordered the non-baked lemon cheesecake and the deconstructed carrot cake. Great food quality and everyone is extremely hospitable ! We had such a lovely time here , and our waitress Kaily was so lovely ! Highly recommend this Joeys location for a good bite !
