“Really really good dosa and everything south Indian pretty authentic. Process are also reasonable and portions are decent size.
Pavbhaji is also pretty good however vadapav wasn't even vaguely good. Both pavbhaji and vadapav had a strong garam masala taste which isn't expected. In particular vadapav had way too much masala that shouldn't even be there.
Highly recommended for all things south Indian.“

In addition to the delicious food, I want to highlight the excellent customer service provided by Fatih, whose kind smile and warm welcome, along with complimentary tea and baklava, made our experience even more enjoyable. I didn't tell him until after all of this was vegan. He said with food like this "I could be vegan!" “We had a reservation to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were seated relatively quickly. Our server Jill was great and did a fabulous job refilling drinks and ribs as we ordered the All You Can Eat rib special. My only complaint was that the kitchen deleted our order and it wasn't until a follow up to see where the food was, did they realize their mistake. We waited just over an hour to get our food. As we chose Montana's specifically for the birthday celebration, we did not have time for cake as it was just getting too late. Jill did give us a piece to go which I appreciate but the kitchen error did mess up our evening and the birthday experience we were expecting. A manager should have came over and explained and offered an appy in the meantime as we were waiting so long but they did nothing. We only found out what happened at the end of the meal. We tipped well only because Jill was great but in this case there should be no tip out to other staff as they all failed in their roles.“

“Our favorite Indian restaurant…. We’ve been going to New Asian Village on 34 Avenue for years. We love the food and the friendly service. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. There are many meat and vegetarian selections to choose from as well as a nice selection of desserts. We always receive superb service at New Asian Village. We recommend it highly.“

“Our junior high took 175 students here over 5 dates for French field trips. The entire process from start (planning) to finish is incredible. Field trip planning can be difficult, and it takes a special kind of person to be able to work with so many teenagers - Sylvia and Chloe were kind, encouraging, and so welcoming to our students. The students were a bit apprehensive to practice their French with strangers, but Sylvia and Chloe were so patient and encouraging. Students came back to the school raving about not only the food, but about how excited and successful they felt with their French. They were accomodating to gluten free and vegan diets without issue. One student got her period unexpectedly and no one from the school had supplies. My co-worker talked with Sylvia to see if the staff had anything, and she walked to the nearby corner store and bought supplies. The community mindset that the staff here is unmatched. If I only had one field trip I could take my French students on, Chartier is that field trip. I hope we can return for many years to come!“

I’ve been visiting Romas for years. Never once did they disappoint! The staff is the super friendly & the restaurant is always so clean.
The artwork on the walls is almost an escape of reality while enjoying a donair or poutine is my go to!
I’ve had the pizza a dozen times too and you can taste the freshness!
The menu is 100% halal so the whole squad can join.

Since changing management Pho Express Riverbend has declined in eat-in service. After serving the meal, they do not come back and ask how the first few bites are or check in if we need anything else. In addition, we have to ask for a water refill. We thought this was a one off time but it is now consistent each time we dine in. The food is good, that’s why we keep going back.“
