“Steak was super good. Cook did great cooking food. Misread menu thinkk 12oz and 8oz steak came with same sides. Was thinking I would get mashed and steamed veggies with 8oz. Sad it came with fries for smaller steak.. they comped free dessert for the confusion. Wait staff had a miscommunication issue and sent cook out to solve issue. Cook was spectacular!!!“

“Dave and his staff are incredible. Even when super busy the staff is attentive and never leaving you wondering when they’ll be back so you can get more water, pop etc.
Very clean atmosphere.
Hands down the BEST wings in the city. Only place my son wants to go for special occasions and has brought his buddies for wings there too!“

“We always enjoy our meal at East Side Mario’s Red Deer. Today it’s worth giving a shoutout to Gabrielle our server. She was a real pleasure and even though she was taught to cheer for the wrong sports team she was so amazing we could easily over look that small detail!

“I've been to this State and Main many times. It is excellent. The Honey Glazed Cajun Chicken is my favourite dish. A perfect balance of spice with a hint of sweet. So good. I come back though for the service. The lounge side in particular is the best. Lindsey for one truly goes above and beyond with her friendliness and intuitive service! Even when it's very busy she ensures you have everything you need. Adam behind the bar is extremely fast and never leaves your glass empty! He's also quick with a joke and your order always comes out just right. Best bartender in town. Finally, I need to highlight Maria too who has exemplary service every time! These 3 highlight an excellent staff as I've never had bad service here. You should go.“

“I ordered a skip the dishes order this morning, the apple streusel waffle and the clubhouse with the tomato basil soup. Absolutely delicious 😋 the waffle was light and fluffy and the topping served on the side were perfect and I was able to put as much or as little as I wanted. But I put it all on and omg sooooo yummy! The clubhouse is Absofreakingloutley huge, and made so perfect!! The turkey and bacon, ugh just perfect!“

“I walked in here expecting an incredibly ‘ordinary’ experience. I just wanted a drink and a meal and to carry on with my evening.

What I didn’t expect, was the ✨CAMERON✨ experience.

Cameron was incredible.

He was engaging, he was knowledgeable, he was fun — he even suggested drink pairings with my poutine (which were all bang on)

On this particular evening, I expected to have a mediocre meal with a bloating beer and to go back to my hotel. Thanks to the team at Original Joe’s Red Deer, I’ve found my favourite spot in the city.
