“Always the best food and the best service! So good I had to stop in the middle of my meal to share. The power combo has all you could ever need, steak cooked perfectly, fall off the bone ribs, crispy, spicy shrimp and 2 sides of your liking; I do double asparagus. When I'm eating something else I fantasize it's this meal. I'd give ten stars, but five is the max.“
“In my eternal quest to find a hamburger that doesn't taste like meat flavoured cardboard, I recently was directed to this establishment by one of my neighbors.My order was simple: burger and fries. The thing about simple is that if they can't get that right, you can't rely on what the other menu item could be like. However, this is one of the few places I have been in a while where I got a burger that actually tasted like a burger. My meal was prepared fresh to order, the meat patty was nicely spiced and flavourful, they didn't go overboard on the garnish, and they fries were hot and just that right balance of soft and crisp.I can honestly say that I am now intrigued and am looking forward to trying out other items on their varied menu. In a world of bright and flashy it was really nice to see simple, modest, and most importantly ... Good.“

“Ordered a couple bowls, fish and chips, flatbread, and the beef dip for a a family birthday. Picked it up right on time. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the flatbread was missing from the order. When we called back, one of the staff quickly resolved the issue and drove over to bring us the missed item and even included a brownie. Amazing service! Will definitely order here again. Highly recommended.“

“Had lunch here today. Service was good. Atmosphere is fine too- a bit noisy.I had a Cobb salad which was great! The greens were super fresh.My husband had a steak sandwich with salad and fries. Steak was well seasoned (a bit salty) pretty tender and the salad was good. The fries were good just a bit salty. Dill dip is great. Overall good lunch.“
“The Toad 'N Turtle was a random choice that will be a new favorite when traveling through Red Deer. The atmosphere is unique, the service is amazing, the food was good, and the prices are decent. We had the brisket grilled cheese, Caesar salad, and toad stools (stuffed mushrooms). Toad stools are a must-have! The only suggestion I could make is that the music should be bardcore, to go with the medieval theme. Great place I highly recommend.“
