Chicken larb was Way too sweet! Thai food isn't that sweet.

The curry was mild in flavors. I'm not talking heat spicy. You can add chili to anything to add heat. But the actual flavor of the curry was watered down with coconut and broth.

I do wish Thai restaurants were more authentic. They would have more people appreciating real Thai flavors if they were.

Also, something I'm not accustomed to is ordering rice separate from the main dish.
This seems to be the norm in Edmonton. Coming from Ontario, it was always the side to any main dish that wasn't noodles. It's definitely not traditional to eat meals without rice. So, having to order it as a side makes it very not Thai.

It's okay.

Didn't like the Pad Thai. It was too heavy on the sauce and didn't have the depth of flavor that other places do. There's lots of good reviews about it so maybe we hit a bad day. It did come with lots of chicken, which I appreciate.

The Khao Soi was delicious! Super spicy, so beware. But it's one of my favorite Thai dishes and often isn't available at Thai restaurants so I was happy to see it here.

Arrived as customers, left as family.
The man who runs the restaurant is the nicest person you'll ever meet. He is knowledgeable about food and culture and will give you the best recommendations if you're new to experiencing Thai food. His family works there as well and by the time we left we felt the love.
Now all this is great but the food is why I'll be returning. Incredible pad Thai, fresh and delicious mango salad, healthy chicken and veggies. And you could tell the oil is fresh from the crispy light golden spring rolls.
The fried rice was one of my favorites.
I was enjoying the experience so much I forgot to take pics. Next time.

Had dinner here tonight and it was delicious. Nice family owned place, very cute, highly reccomend satay beef and chu chee!

This place used to have really good food and now has gone downhill. Portions are now very small and quality is greatly reduced. Such a shame as we loved this place years back. Won’t be back.
