“Our daughters favorite place to go is Famoso so we stopped in while in Town for the weekend. We’ve never been to a ‘Pronto’ location before and noticed the atmosphere to be a bit less cozy than other regular Famoso restaurants. Our kids love playing with raw dough as we wait for our meals and were surprised when we were advised by the waitress that they don’t do that at this location. Nevertheless, she still provided them with the dough! Food was great as always.“

It was obviously a busy night and I had to wait a bit longer than quoted for my order, which was completely understandable. The staff member that took my order, communicated multiple times with me about the status. She felt bad for our wait and discounted my pizza which was so unexpected! I worked in a pizza restaurant for over 10 years and I was so touched by the kindness and compassion of the staff here! The service was perfectly complemented by my absolutely delicious pizza. “I went around 3:45pm on a Thursday. Ordered a jumbo beef donair and a small garlic cheesesticks and it's about $24. Waited about 15 minutes. The donair was tasty but the portion didn't match a "jumbo". It looked like it was a regular size and I was a bit bumbed about it. Nevertheless, when I tried the cheesesticks, well I became a happy customer. The sweet sauce and tomato dips were very good with the sticks. The sticks were cheesy and the dough was baked in perfection. Donair was a 3/5 star score while the cheesesticks was 5/5.“

“My family always enjoys Dominos Pizza. Their prices are better than the other pizza places and often offer great coupons. I wish they didn’t charge extra for the marinara sauce as my kids find their standard pizza sauce too spicy. Gluten free pizza has always been safe for my celiac spouse!

“First time here tonight and won’t be our last! DELICIOUS Italian food. I ordered the rigatoni with like a creamy type Rose’ sauce and meatballs. Legit fantastico. Nice portion as it was incredibly filling (I over stuffed for sure) and it was one of the best pasta sauces I’ve tasted. My husband ordered one of the pizzas and it was tasty and the crust was perfect. Great atmosphere and wait staff was attentive and fast. Half priced wines are on Wednesdays. “Nitza's has been absolutely fantastic! We're new to the city, after reading recommendations about how good they are we gave them a try and have been hooked ever since. Tonight a topping was missed on one of our pizzas but when I called to let them know, the fella was so apologetic. Not only was he apologetic he offered to send a new one and to keep the one we had. I told him we would be happy if they could just send over the missing topping (fresh tomatoes). Well minutes later he hand delivered a new one along with a side of fresh tomatoes for the one that was missing them. I explained that I was in to pick up lunch for my kids as I had forgotten to order their hot lunch before the cut off date. I was about to pay, and without asking or expecting anything of the sort, was offered a large discount (50%) because that was what they charge to the schools. Wow! Also, when I was waiting to be helped I also overheard the manager offering to honour someone’s coupon even though it had expired. I was very impressed and left there feeling like I needed to share. For context, I had gone to east side Mario’s for a weird in between dinner and lunch. I know….. risky.

These two made the impossible happen.

I’m a 21 year girl, my friend not much older. Indecisive. Girl dinner-ish. Scared. Unfamiliar with the Italian culture. Up against a big menu with an empty stomach.

Peach frozee of sorts, recommend by both of the boys (they’re not afraid to enjoy a fruity cocktail, not too nonchalant for those activities) it hit. AMAZING!

Three minutes in:

The angel returns with hands full of bread, caeser salad, and potato bacon soup- I AM SMILING!

Connor has suggested a pesto Alfredo penne. This is new… but there’s more. Protein??! Veggies?! What do we do?!

“I recently grabbed a pizza from Little Caesars, and I was really impressed! The Hot-N-Ready pizzas are super convenient when you want something quick. The crust was perfect—crispy on the outside but nice and soft on the inside.

I got their pepperoni pizza, and it was loaded with pepperoni slices. The flavor was spot on, not too spicy but just right. Plus, you can’t beat the price. It’s such a good deal for the quality you get.

“Just tried Papa John's for the first time and I had no idea what I was missing. Great pizza. We've tried most of the chains and local spots in St Albert and north Edmonton and out of all of them, this will probably be my first choice now!“
