“During the Snowflake Festival last night, I picked up a pizza for take out from Dj’s. It was obviously a busy night and I had to wait a bit longer than quoted for my order, which was completely understandable. The staff member that took my order, communicated multiple times with me about the status. She felt bad for our wait and discounted my pizza which was so unexpected! I worked in a pizza restaurant for over 10 years and I was so touched by the kindness and compassion of the staff here! The service was perfectly complemented by my absolutely delicious pizza. This place is a 10!“

Twice in a row I was lucky enough to have Rose as my server. I cannot praise her enough! She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Service was fast, and she made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance was clean and comfortable making it a great spot for both quick bites and relaxed meals. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and experience. I appreciate that they have gluten & dairy free options for appetizers, main courses and desserts. “I went around 3:45pm on a Thursday. Ordered a jumbo beef donair and a small garlic cheesesticks and it's about $24. Waited about 15 minutes. The donair was tasty but the portion didn't match a "jumbo". It looked like it was a regular size and I was a bit bumbed about it. Nevertheless, when I tried the cheesesticks, well I became a happy customer. The sweet sauce and tomato dips were very good with the sticks. The sticks were cheesy and the dough was baked in perfection. Donair was a 3/5 star score while the cheesesticks was 5/5.“

“Nitza's has been absolutely fantastic! We're new to the city, after reading recommendations about how good they are we gave them a try and have been hooked ever since. Tonight a topping was missed on one of our pizzas but when I called to let them know, the fella was so apologetic. Not only was he apologetic he offered to send a new one and to keep the one we had. I told him we would be happy if they could just send over the missing topping (fresh tomatoes). Well minutes later he hand delivered a new one along with a side of fresh tomatoes for the one that was missing them. “Just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing service I had today when picking up lunch for my kids - I think it was the manager who assisted me. I explained that I was in to pick up lunch for my kids as I had forgotten to order their hot lunch before the cut off date. I was about to pay, and without asking or expecting anything of the sort, was offered a large discount (50%) because that was what they charge to the schools. Wow! Also, when I was waiting to be helped I also overheard the manager offering to honour someone’s coupon even though it had expired. I was very impressed and left there feeling like I needed to share. “It's been a while since I have been in a Famoso, we used to have one in Grande Prairie. We stopped at the St Albert location. I was remembering the super delicious banana Nutella pizza, it's been my favorite dessert since I first tried it. The lady said it's no longer on the menu. She said she might send a person to Safeway to get some bananas, she did, and she had that most excellent desert made for us. Such great customer service. The desert didn't survive. Thank you.“

The pizzas I had were perfectly crisp, the sauce hit that sweet spot of flavor, and the toppings were super fresh. (Try anything with the fresh diced tomatoes, it never disappoints!).
