“who would’ve thought i’ll have the best iced mocha in sundre? always been an iced mocha girl and so far, only elk&owl coffee got the perfect balance of coffee & chocolate, giving the perf duo of sweetness and kick + the owner/barista was awesome too! can’t wait to be back in June and try their other drinks~”

“I was ecstatic to see that this restaurant offers dairy free cheese on their pizza and pasta, that immediately settled it, I had to support this place and get some vegan lasagna!! That's what I had today on my first visit and it was delicious and just the right portion! It felt so amazing to have finally found a local eatery that offers options that fit my ethics, I applaud Boondox, I don't know anywhere else in Sundre or even Innisfail or Olds that offers dairy free cheese to create vegan options! I am going to tell all my friends and I can't wait to come back and try a pizza!!”

“I left my wallet in the washroom here and the manager, Vince, went out of his way to track me down and let me know where my wallet was. There was no phone number in it so it required some detective work on his part. When I got my wallet back, everything was intact. He wouldn’t take a thank you tip either. Thanks to Vince and the customer who turned it in. If he does that for a stranger, you know he will do a good job with staff and customers.”

“With Covid-19 we are all trying to take extra precautions on being safe .....YET when we order drinks and a doughnut the straws are placed in the bag with the doughnuts!!!! The straws that have been handled by the person wearing gloves, that have come into contact with the debit machine, money and who else knows!!! Do we think this is a safe way to hand the customer the straws!!!”
