This store is conveniently located not too far away from Costco and REI. In preparation for our adventure in the Alaska wilderness, we stocked up on a wine opener and some essential snacks at this location. As at Costco, our wine opener had to be paid for at a separate cash register.
This Fred Meyer is located on Dimond Blvd. Their parking lot is large and includes convenient secured bins for clothing donations. We're here often. Despite this, I find myself walking through multiple aisles searching for the simplest of items. By now I know produce is on one side of the building, and clothing/electronics are on the opposite side. The restrooms, liquor store, and pharmacy are all upfront. This place is a total disaster! I've been shopping here almost exclusively for over 7 years. About 6-9 months ago they began a total renovation of the store and since then it's a damn confusing mess. They have completley the entire store and almost everything has been relocated. There are still huge sections where there is nothing stocked, prices are no longer a value and they never have more than two checkstands open.
