“Food was great. large enough portion that 2 of our party had leftovers. Tried 5 types of sushi in our group and all were delicious. One of us had the tempura halibut, was surprised to find it here. The bowl of beef noodles soup was huge! And the 9yr old who got it was very upset the next day when her dad took her leftover soup to work for lunch! All in all, will come back many more times.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are not a lot of wheelchair options, but the ramp is good and the employees were happy to seat us.“

“Chicken fried rice is the best! The mongolian chicken is good, but on the sweeter side so I always ask for it to be “less sweet.” My family loves the California roll. The ladies are always really nice! It is pricey, but it’s our favorite place.

“Ive been a few times in the last few months and they have great food! Too bad they close half an hour before they actually close? I came in at 9:30pm and was told they only did take out after 9:30pm so I went outside and looked up the menu to order the website was not cooperating and the menu has to be downloaded vs being able to view it on the site. At 9:40pm I called to place the order and was told they weren't accepting orders. Maybe the hours should be adjusted according to that or maybe they should post a sign that they close before they actually close? Maybe it is and I didn't see it? After many years in the food industry I don't quite understand being open but not operational. sad and dissapointed.“

“We wanted to try something new. Found Sushi Motto. When we arrived we were greeted and seated. Our oldest was having a hard time deciding on what he wanted because it's a new place. One of the ladies came to our table and helped him with his decision. She was amazing with helping him. Made it a calm and easy choice. All of our meals were exceptional. King fu panda. Lion king. Surf and turf. California roll. Crunch roll. And shrimp fried rice. The sushi rolls held together very well, no falling apart. And to top it off. The same lady came by and gave us of desert options. We chose fried Oreos. By far the BEST fried Oreos we have ever had. Now that being said. What a great first impression. The prices were very reasonable. All the staff were friendly and courteous. What a fun atmosphere. We have paid more at other places and they add automatic gratuity because we are a family of five. Which I find unprofessional. We will definitely be back. Next on the list. “I’m not a fan of sushi but ReHaru is where my granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday lunch. The atmosphere was delightful and the food was excellent! “Surprisingly, good food for an airport restaurant. Sushi ? was fresh, and our main meals were delicious as well. I enjoyed a teriyaki salmon. My wife had the Udan Noddle soup ? with shrimp.Great for a nice dinner before a ✈️. Good beer selection as well.“

“We have been here several times and have always enjoyed our meals! We ordered the firecracker for an appetizer and it was amazing! We came in hungry after traveling for the day and we were quickly seated and taken care of. Our waiter was amazing and didn’t even have to write anything down when we ordered and we ordered 8 different sushi rolls. While we were waiting for our rolls to come out our waiter brought us all a cup of Miso soup and added rice to the miso for our kids which was very thoughtful. He also brought my husband and I a cup of salad that was also very fresh tasting. My husband ordered a coke and it came in a glass with the good pebble ice so that was a nice touch as well.
Our favorite rolls are the kiss of fire, 911, and the crunch. The crunch is great for kids, our kids devoured them. The kiss of fire is huge - comes with a lot of poki tuna on top that you could add to your other rolls as you’re eating.
We will definitely come back when we come to anchorage. Don’t let the outside fool you - this place is well done on the interior!

“My daughter wanted Chinese food while we were in Anchorage to ice skate. Being unfamiliar with the local restaurants, we looked online. Having been spoiled by truly amazing Asian food in the past, we chose China Lights. We were not disappointed! The food was beautiful and awesome! Very colorful and flavorful. The restaurant was clean and the had a joyful feel. The owner and wait-staff were attentive, kind, and showed a true enjoyment of their jobs. Miss Tracy was genuinely super kind to my daughter and I. Going to a place where people really enjoy what they do makes a big difference in the overall experience! Definitely added to my favorite stops list in Anchorage.“
