“I’ve been a steady customer since this cafe opened. Their food is delicious! Not one bad item on their menu. The coffee is very good as well, but more importantly, this has to be the friendliest of any restaurant I’ve been to. They go out of their way to help you. There’s plenty of seating (they have a back room for overflow). The atmosphere is homey and very clean. If you’re a first time customer, you’ll be hooked and come again and again and . . .”

“This is a place to visit if you crave bold flavors and freshly made, from-scratch food. If you're in a rush, order ahead. There is limited seating for guests. The menu is updated daily, and as they run out of items, they update the website. We ordered J3rk Wings with mango j3rk sauce (all sauces made in-house). WOW! The wings were cooked perfectly, and that sauce was a 10/10 for flavor. I would eat them every day. The Pholourie (Split Pea Fritter) was gorgeous, with a crisp, golden shell and a light, airy center (there is an art to fritters, and the artist nailed it here). These were served with a dipping sauce that had a perfect flavor profile. Then we split the Chicken Rasta Pasta it was bold and flavorful with a kick of heat. For dessert, we had the bread pudding experience. The bread pudding must be savored; don't ask for the recipe, much has been offered in exchange, and these sisters won't share their secret. Overall, 10/10 best food I have experienced in Alaska since moving here two years ago, and I’ve had some really good food. Portion size was generous,there was enough for two of us, and we will have plenty for lunch tomorrow as well.”

“Ordered pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and a pho meat combo, which were all very tasty. The pho combo could have had more tripe. Very big portion sizes, quick service. Would recommend.”

“Every night is different at homies. The bartenders are incredible, security is looking out for you, and the djs always produce the best jams. Plus no sticky floors!

Parking: Bit of a free for all but always able to find a spot.

“We came to Jimmy’s Sushi for the first time in years… I don’t know why we forgot about this gem! Everything we ordered was delicious! You know the food is good when your pre-schooler avoids the rice for the rest of his bento box! I ordered the Penang curry after recommendations from the server that it was gluten free and it was delectable! My husband has his typical favorite, the General Tso and thoroughly enjoyed it. The knowledgeable staff to accommodate my need for gluten free food was impressive and SO appreciated. I’m ready to come back to Jimmy’s asap.”

“Absolutely love this place. The girls are always amazing. They so friendly and always ask where my dogs are when I don’t bring them. They always make our drinks perfectly and my husband has a complicated drink and they nail it every time. I can’t recommend this place enough. I always ask for a surprise lotus and I have never had one I don’t love. Thanks for always putting a smile on my face and making me feel welcomed.”

“Starbucks is one of my rare treats! They always have a few seasonal hit or iced seasonal coffees as well as good old standbys. They also are pretty creative at request combinations. Starbucks - great place for a coffee treat!”

“Absolutely enjoyed the customer service and coffee at Central Perk. I’m visiting from Oklahoma, but when I come back, I’ll definitely be stopping here again. I asked lots of questions and even asked for a recommendation of “weird flavor combos” and they answered every one with a smile! I ordered a Vanilla Rose Latte with oat milk per their recommendation and it’s delicious! They brightened my morning and put a smile on my face :)”

“This is our families go to for food in Eagle River. My kids birthday dinner…they want Kim’s! I didn’t want to cook dinner…Kim’s! We want a variety of different food…Kim’s! Even when they are jam packed, their service is quick, everyone’s nice, and you feel like you’re home. So if you haven’t checked this place out yet you need to!”

“Years of driving by on the Highway, and we will now be stopping in for food for years to come. Great food, salad bar at lunch all awesome. Family and special needs friendly. Ultra friendly, efficient service for food and service all ways. For sure we will be back”
