“I’ve traveled extensively across the United States and tried countless pizzas, but after living in Eagle River for nine years, Great Alaska Pizza Co. will always be my top choice whenever I return to visit. Although many people have come and gone from the store since I was younger, my family has a special connection there—we were well-known among the staff. Each visit brings back a sense of being home, and it’s something we truly cherish.

The food is consistently delicious, and I find myself missing it whenever I have to order from elsewhere. Their Hawaiian pizza with mushrooms is simply unbeatable!“

I had their "Papa Murphys favorite" and it was like a Supreme pizza, I usually don't like those because it seems like the dough in the middle never gets completely done and crispy, well that pizza turned out perfect! Good prep work makes a great pizza!“

The pizza and staff were both stellar and this definitely will not be our first visit to this little spot in Eagle River. “They are good and great and gets things done on time“

“Unfortunately, several items in our order had issues. The burgers were burnt, the fries were soggy, and the chicken strips were dry. The cheese curds were the biggest disappointment — they arrived as one large clump sitting in a pool of brown oil, with no resemblance to actual curds. The pizza was okay, but not enough to make up for the rest of the order. Everything had a strong taste of old fryer oil. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place, so hopefully this was just an off night.“

“Phenomenal customer service! We showed up there with our
granddaughter for a carry out order and the wait staff was very attentive. We took her to an area of the pizzeria that was closed at the time so we wouldn't disturb other diners and they opened it up for us...we did not ask for this. The pizza and calzone we very good as well.“
