About Alaska Salmon Bake

The Alaska Salmon Bake provides a unique dining experience with delicious salmon dishes, all prepared and served outdoors, creating a true Alaskan atmosphere. The setting is beautiful, especially in the charming Pioneer Village, although some guests noted it can be chilly in late summer months. The staff is friendly, and while service can be slow during busy times, the attentive owner's suggestions, like the sweet marinade, enhance the meal.

Many visitors enjoy the prime rib and appreciate the option to have multiple types of fish, including grilled salmon, halibut, and cod. The large portions of salmon and the wonderful salad bar are highlights for many diners. The casual atmosphere is family-friendly, with ample seating and space for children to play. Guests can also enjoy a selection of drinks, including beer, wine, and sangria. With plentiful parking and a beautiful setting, the Alaska Salmon Bake remains a good spot for a delicious and laid-back meal.

Super salty foods, not freshly cooked, seems to be a tourist attraction but not worth the money at all

Great dining experience in Fairbanks. I loved the prime rib and felt it was some of the best in town. The fish and chips were amazing. Glad it is a regular restaurant now where you don’t feel you need to stuff yourself to get your money’s worth.

We were so excited to eat here on opening day, we got the Mother Load dinner. Absolutely the worst food ever, 75+ dollars and well be hitting Wendy’s! Don’t waste your money! Pioneer Park on the other hand is phenomenal!! DO visit the Park. Just don’t eat here!!
