This morning I went to the Hotspot Cafe on Van Horn Road. As a born and raised Alaskan, coming across a southern restaurant always sounded enjoyable. I seem to have finally found a true southern experience, after careful, consideration, I felt the need to post a review. I can say I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone with ethnic diversity.

Driven by many times but have never been inside. Stopped in yesterday for some lunch. very tastey place. I will definitely be back.
Service was terrible. I understand short staffing but when 2 tables get to put their order in before us, get their food, eat and pay before I get anything besides an oj is terrible. The waitress asked us 1hr in if anyone took my order. My response yes you. Finally when a table of 5 that came in long after us get their food and she has no idea where or how long mine would be I left with kiddo in toe.
I would never go back nor recommend to anyone. Unless you know the waitress...read full review
