My husband and I each ordered a different hand pies and had mixed experiences. I ordered the turkey & ham pie with cheese and berry jam and it was very good. The pie crust was flakey and the filling was cheesy and flavorful, we both really enjoyed that one. My husband had ordered a BBQ pork filled pie though and it was not good. The filling was fairly dry and bland, plus it seemed to be crock pot made rather than actual BBQ meat. The pies are fairly expensive so for that price we expected a bit more from the BBQ pork hand pie. The service was very fast though and the pies were served hot which was really nice given the single digit temps.

Stumbled on this place while visiting Girdwood Brewing Company! While the brewer doesn't carry food, this food truck was onsite (and it was their first day).
Straight up the pies are delicious (I had the Green Chile Chicken and Mad Cow). GCC - excellent! Good balance of flavours and ingredients. The MC was really good EXCEPT, I am not a big fan of chipotle peppers. The other 2 options they had were a Broccoli + Cheese and a Hog Wild.
Pastry was light and flaky and the pies were packed with ingredients!
Where I gave this company a 4 instead of 5 was their fries! They were waffle fries and hearty but they were COLD - like really cold! For $9 you need to do better than that! the aioli was a mayo/ketchup concoction which was not anything special!
Pies aren't cheap ranging between $14 - $16 but this is what you get with food trucks and no competition.
The staff were very friendly and overall, nothing bad to say about the experience (minus the fries).
Wishing this group all the best!

Nicole was awesome. The hand pies were hot, crispy, and delicious. I've been several times but always ate them too quickly before I remembered to take photos

I am so glad I found this place at GBC! One of the coolest new food trucks on the roster. I tried the broccoli and cheddar, cherry danish, sausage, rolls, waffle, fries, and chicken green chili. OMG! Warm, soft and delicious with some of the best sauces around. Cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Will return every time I see these guys.

I absolutely love High Five Hand Pies! Their menu changes frequently, so there's always something new to try. My current favorites are the sausage roll and the ‘I Love Lamb’. And let’s not forget the fries—delicious with great sauces, and the perfect pairing for a brewery visit. Highly recommend!

Tried both the lamb and chicken and they're good but for 15 dollars, I can buy 3 slices of pizza at Saverio's. Too expensive for a piece of pie! I'd be surprised if they can grow the business by price gouging.
