Cafes in Haines

“I love, love, love the authentic basket that I purchased. The llittle grocery store section was full of amazing and unique treats. The food was excellent, but they were busy and crowded, and the bathroom was locked the entire time we were there. ?Fortunately, the weather was nice enough to eat at some tables they had outside. It is too bad they don't have more space.“

“Popped in for a vanilla latte, and biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were piping hot, generously smothered in peppery sausage gravy that made me want to lick the plate. I’m sure I was less than lady-like as I wolfed down the food in about a minute and a half because it was so good. This little gem is now one of my favourite plates to eat in Haines.“

“A gem in Haines. They have sandwiches and espresso and a small but curated grocery. Fruits, veges, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, pastries and more. Great place to stock up before hitting the road. They also have a liquor store though we stocked up on water and groceries for our road trip in February. We also picked up several of those Tasty Bites Indian food packets for an easy dinner back at our hotel. Snow was falling and the roads are covered but it was a friendly place with a warm vibe. Part of the store had sit down tables to eat your food or enjoy coffee. The place was well trafficked and we recognized several of our Alaska ferry travelers also stocking up. Not sure when we will be back but I'll remember this gem of a store.“
