My wife and I always choose AJ's to celebrate special occasions (ie our anniversary and birthdays) and yesterday was no exception. The staff was absolutely wonderful, starting with Darrel who greeted and sat us and then food server Kristin (apologies if their names were misspelled). The ambience, food selection, quality and staff are outstanding. We'll continue to be loyal AJ customers.
We arrived 25 minutes early and were immediately seated at our table. The wait staff was prompt and constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything. The appetizers came out well before our entrees to allow us enough time to eat them. The first bite of our steak, we knew we had made the right dinner reservation - it was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection as well as the baked potato and asparagus! We will certainly return to AJ's Steak House when we return...
We were met at the door like we were long lost friends ! The food was perfectly cooked. We had the prime rib and the filet. Probably one of the best we've had. The server was attentive and anticipated our needs for refills. The ambiance was excellent I highly recommend AJs when you're in Homer, but I would suggest making a reservation.
