We have been to AJ's many times and I think my last meal there may have been my favorite ever. I had the fall salad special with roasted butternut squash, marinated roasted beets, crispy prosciutto, roasted pumpkin seeds, goat cheese, radish sprouts and tomatoes with a roasted butternut squash vinaigrette topped with blackened sablefish. It was exquisite and hopefully will be there when we visit again!
It starts with Darryl, the consummate professional, greeting you at the door. Then GREAT drinks, then a delicious, perfectly prepared steak and lastly hot coffee and chocolate cake. Of course wait staff excellent as usual. The result: a perfect experience!! AJ's is a must if u visit Homer. For us residents it is a landmark treasure!!!
Great place, good service and excellent staff. I did not expect this high quality food in Alaska. Highly recommended. I'm a very picky eater coming from New Jersey also owning my own Italian deli & catering business. I would definitely return to this establishment.
