Halibut fish and chips were excellently prepared and delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely evening dinner!
What a fun experience to take our recent catch and have it cooked. And it was delicious!
Best halibut fish and chips in Homer. I like mine “lightly breaded.”

Hook & Cook is a walk-up order fish shack of the highest caliber, with a cute little window and easy menu. The halibut fish and chips are sublime, with perfectly seasoned, huge chunks of fish and perfect breading that is not soggy, seasoned lightly, and crunchy crispy. The tartar sauce is amazing, and the onion rings, fried halibut, and malassadas are all delicious, though the malassadas weren't like what was had in Hawaii. The zucchini fries are also amazing, and the fries are good. The catch and cook is a great deal, though extra tartar sauce costs 1 dollar per for a large order. The fish and chips are a better deal than the sandwich, which is tasty but not as much for the money. This place will ruin fish and chips for anyone, as no other place makes them as good.
