I’ve been wanting to try this place! A friend of mine and I decided to head over there and see what the buzz is all about! The place was packed when we got there. Wild Honey Bistro is a charming spot known for its delicious food and great coffee. Customers enjoy the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty gluten-free crepes. The cafe offers gourmet sweet and savory crepes, including gluten-free options, baked treats, sandwiches, and beverages like espresso and mimosas. The hot honey latte, praised for its caramelized honey and heavy cream, remains a popular choice, along with the lemon berry monkey bread. The berry crepe is especially memorable, described as rich and sweet, perfect for sharing due to its size.
Wild Honey Bistro features French jazz music, creating a relaxing environment ideal for a meal or a good read. The bistro offers beautiful crepes, baked goods, and coffee, with good seating options both inside and outside. The bakery is known for its flaky, buttery croissants, including the highly praised almond croissant, which is considered a standout in Alaska. Service is often highlighted as excellent, with staff being kind, accommodating, and fast, even during busy times. Although parking can be a little crumby due to the bistro's popularity, it is worth it. Overall, Wild Honey Bistro is a top-notch place and a must-visit for anyone in Homer looking for a delightful dining experience, whether dining in or grabbing a to-go order for the beach.
