“We were preparing for an Alaska cruise and we received a call from a relative asking if we could stop at Amalga Distillery to purchase what I believe is their flagship gin. He had tried it on a whim with some friends and discovered that he really enjoyed it along with his wife. They're not usually gin drinkers so this was pretty exceptional. We took on the task as we approached the Port of Juneau figuring out how we were going to transport six bottles of juneauper gin back to the States. Anyways, we ended up at the distillery The gentleman who served us was very kind and I believe a little surprised that we wanted six bottles, LOL. We also purchased three glasses of gin and tonic with the same gin and enjoyed it immensely. We discovered later in the bill that the gentleman comped us the three glasses of gin and tonic, which was very nice of him. Thank you so much Amalga Distillery. We recommend anyone who is in Juneau to grab some of this wonderful gin. They do not ship it across state lines so you must purchase on site or within the state. Please try it out. We enjoyed it very much.“

The food was truly amazing every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they take pride in every plate that comes out of the kitchen. The service was just as impressive friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.

“As a Juneauite, I get bummed every year when they close. Had the puff pastry salmon and escalloped potatoes today, had the garlic twisters last week- they hit every time. Going back for dessert soon. Lovely staff and it’s a great spot. Highly recommend!!“
