“We walked around looking for lunch and thought this looks OK, well was this ok yes. The service was great the young man helping us was so good he offered suggestions talked to us like people, the food was awesome the beer great, I would say 100% drop in its better than the fancy ones every one goes to.“
“We love the Cafe's ever changing weekend brunch menu. We're in Ketchikan every few months (hope to move there soon), and we always stop there for brunch. If the Korean Street Toast is on the menu, don't hesitate, it's amazing. Great staff, great quality, and A+ for creativity of the menu.Food & drinks: So many delicious items on the menu. It is impossible to make a bad choice!“

“I always have such a spectacular time bringing my group of friends and family over! If I’m celebrating a reunion, anniversary, or birthdays your crew never disappoint! I’m a local myself, the different platter of food and drinks are extremely flavorful compared to what I’m used to! 🥰🥂“
“The five star rating is more for the service I received. My server Sean or Shawn, was very attentive and spoke calmy, I appreciated that a lot after a long 24hrs of flight cancelations and redirections in and out of Ketchikan. They answered all the questioned I had, cleared my plates as needed, also checking in often. I started with the tomato bisque and steake tips and both were delicious. I like when food is spiced and flavored well (tomato chunks could be a bit smaller tho, but thats just a personal preference about certain textures). The sauce the steak tips came with was great too! Then for dessert I tried the blueberry halibut -I think that was the fish- salad and it tasted just as delicious with a mix of sweet and savory, a combination I like a lot. Though I only wish there was maybe one more piece of fish. As for the prices all I can say is its Alaska and its tourist season, for the quality of ingredients and flavors I think its a fair trade off. One of the better meals I've had out here from a restaurant. And if you're smart about how you pair your dishes together you can get a lot of satiation out of you experience. Meal cost me about $60 (for one) including two glasses of champagne (not including tip - tip your servers but also businesses need to do better- but that's a debate for later ;). Thanks again Shawn/Sean for your calming and attentive demeanor.“

“Alaska Fish House wears its intentions plainly, and that’s part of the charm. This is a place built around locally caught Alaska seafood. There is a burger and a simple spring mix salad on standby, but if seafood isn’t your goal, you’re probably better off elsewhere. If it is, you’re in very good hands.
The fish was impeccably fresh and cooked just right. The batter, light with a noticeable panko crunch, struck that rare balance of crisp without overwhelming the fish. Fries came seasoned in their house blend that leans Cajun or Seafood Magic, and the slaw tilted toward a Carolina-style bite rather than creamy heaviness. The fish tacos were solid, though the rice was well past tender into mushy territory. The chowder, however, was a standout: rich, herbaceous, comforting, and exactly what you want if you visit on a chilly day in October.
Set right on the water, the space is open and easygoing, with outdoor seating that shines on a nice day and even a private room for group dining that looks straight into the open kitchen. It’s a counter-service setup, so things move quickly and without fuss. The staff was friendly and genuinely engaging, happy to guide you through the menu without rushing you through the experience.
Alaska Fish House doesn’t try to be everything to everyone. If fresh fish is what you’re chasing in Ketchikan, this one’s a reliable, satisfying stop.“
