We stumbled across Turkey Red while spending the night in Palmer and wow, we're so lucky we did. We had baked Brie with walnuts and blueberries, the salmon and the rockfish specials, and a nice port to finish up the meal. Everything was delicious (the bread was exceptionally good), our server was very nice, and the food came out fast.

I did not feel welcome as an older woman dining alone. Older waitress stopped me when I was going to find the restroom and asked me where I was going. I told her that I needed the rest room. I got the impression she thought I was leaving without paying the bill. I had to get up and find someone to get coffee refill. When I first arrived, I was not greeted. I had to say I wanted to dine in. The salad was fine but lacked all that was advertized like cabbage and kale. The carrot...

Turkey Red. You can’t go wrong. Food is always good! Service is great, sweets are delightful and the atmosphere is nice.

Side note: However word of caution they do this hour ‘turnover ‘ thing from like 4-5, and you can only get appetizers- they are shifting into dinner service. I just happen to hit it twice now- apps are awesome, but I just wanted an early dinner.
