“Tried getting in at a popular place a few doors down but they were booked with a 2 hour wait.
Stumbled upon this little spot with only 5 seats at the bar and only a few tables.
Zach, the bartender, greeted us with an upbeat vibe and explained the few menu options well.
We had the filet and salmon. The filet was excellent- cooked perfectly with great flavor. The salmon was in a ginger broth- very unique and was delicious. It wasn’t fresh salmon, which seems all but impossible to get anywhere in this town with a few fish processors in town taking in thousands of pounds of fresh salmon on a daily basis.

The price for our meal was not excessive at all and The wine selection, while not large, was well-selected. And we both walked out feeling full and happy.”

“Connected to the Mexican taqueria place which is nice. Have a good selection of beers we loved the raspberry wheat, mango cider, amber ale. And IPA. All games are free so we spent our rainy day here playing board games, pool, and darts. Music wasn’t on during the day which was a bummer but they had baseball on. Music went on around 7pm. Bar tender was a sweetheart and let us taste.”

“Really happy to find Asian-style fried rice in such a small town! The food was good and the portion was HUGE — almost twice what you’d normally get in Toronto. Very generous and freshly made.

It’s a simple roadside food truck, and the service was quick. The only thing I found a little odd was the tipping option, since there’s no seating or table service. Other than that, everything ok.”

September 2026. Lucky to have a second visit to Ray's waterfront when visiting Seward. Still has the best service and tasty meals. I recommend Ray's famous saltwater burger !

“I have had Moose Tracks in many places, I never imagined that I'd find the best one in Seward, Alaska! The flavours feel fresh with no formation of ice crystals with a variety of options to choose from. The staff is genuinely kind not only knowledgeable about ice creams, but also on things to do in Seward as well as Alaska as a while. We had a great time here, kudos to the right minded owners!”

“We just stumbled upon this place, and went in to check it out because the door was wide open and it looked interesting.

My expectations for coffee in Seward were low, based on what we'd seen online.

We ordered breakfast sandwiches and lattes. My wife ordered her usual small latte with almond milk and sugar free syrup. I ordered a small latte, and after breakfast, a second one (pictured). The first was made by a staff member, and the second was made by the owner (or manager). Both exceeded my expectations. And the sandwiches were just right.”

“Great- Chicken sandwich, fries,service, vibe.
Not great- $9 for mini salad, beer lacked depth of flavor.

We stopped by here for a bite to eat and I got a beer. I ordered the chicken sandwich which came with fries. The sandwich was excellent. The fries were very good. I would highly recommend ordering that again. My wife got a salad which was $9 and it was extremely small. Maybe that's just an Alaskan thing and they don't grow their own vegetables but it seemed extremely overpriced. I do know this is a tourist town and it's tourist season so all prices are inflated. I got a beer, the weis beer. I've drank a lot of micro brews and unfortunately many Brewers suffer from this problem where they don't really get that depth of flavor that I'm looking for and that was the case with this. It wasn't a bad beer, it just wasn't a what I would consider a good beer. I like the vibe of this place. It was actually packed with all sorts of people. Most likely tourists and they were doing a good business. Service was excellent. I might go back here again for that chicken sandwich and fries. I wish that they had a dark beer since it is fall and they didn't have any dark beer on their current offerings so hopefully hopefully this is helpful.”

“After eating along the waterfront in Seward, we heard some recommend Salmon Bake. It was just around the corner from the Seward KOA where we had been staying for several days. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing, the best in Seward. Service was extremely fast and the quaint decor of the restaurant was cozy and warm. Definitely recommend 1000% as the best in the area! You won't be disappointed!!”

“Food was AMAZING- The dipping sauces are the best part. I don’t normally care for tartar sauce but this place had the BEST tartar sauce ever. We come to Seward a couple of times a year and will always stop by here for a meal. Friendly service and good food! Definitely recommend!”

“Great service in a rustic building by the waterfront and Sealife Center. Server was smiling and friendly. The reindeer sausage soup was incredible and I wish I had ordered a bowl instead of a cup! Highly recommend. Reasonably priced food. Quick service with our meal out in less than 10 minutes.”
