“Always a positive experience at Primrose Provisions - whether picking up a yummy sandwich, buying cheese, sipping with friends or shopping Carri’s wonderful collection of vintage and Alaska items. The view and setting are hard to beat especially in winter when we long for light and vistas ….and best yet for this local ….it’s open year round! Madelyn”

“There's a reason there's a line at this place before it even opens. The waiters are friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding. We tried the oysters, the halibut and the salmon. All were very delicious.”

“Traveling through Seward today as part of a five week road trip. Decided to stop at Firebrand for a late dinner. What a great decision. Meal was awesome. Chad and Ashlyn took great care of us and our wraps (burritos) were off the chart. Do yourself a favor if'n you're in Seward and stop for some great BBQ at Firebrand!”

“The restaurants in Alaska tend to be pricey, mostly because about 95% of all food is imported from other states or countries, which drives up transportation costs. With the average of many dishes ranging from $25 to $40, you might hesitate to eat out, but hey, you are traveling, so go for it. The good news is that plenty of places truly deliver food that is worth the price, and the satisfaction level was good.
I liked at this place was the seafood Alfredo. The Alaskan halibut was fresh, and the pasta was creamy and delightfully cheesy. It was absolutely delicious.”

“Best burger of the entire trip. The wagyu burger was cooked perfectly, with a delicious bun, perfectly crispy fries, and great seasoning throughout.
The salmon with ginger-coconut milk sauce and grilled carrots was also excellent. I personally prefer salmon slightly less cooked in the center, but this dish was still delicious. Service was great too.
Highly recommend.”

“Hands down the BEST food in Seward, honestly maybe even all of Alaska. The portions are generous, everything is packed with flavor, and it is the last place you would expect to find such solid Mexican food. My whole family loved it, and there were plenty of options for kids and even picky eaters. The owners are incredibly kind, and the addition of fresh Alaskan fish on the menu is a huge bonus. My favorites were the rockfish burrito and the birria breakfast burrito, both were so good I wish I could have tried everything. I have been to Seward twice now and make it a point to stop here every time. If you are in town, do not skip it.”

“We stopped in to grab a quick bite & drink before a tour but being a holiday the kitchen was closed. No big deal! The bar tender shared of a few close by options that we could bring in. So we tried out a recommended food truck & came back to eat & have a few drinks. Good atmosphere, prices were reasonable, locals were welcoming, & credit cards accepted.”

“Its giving adorable, welcoming, and home-like vibes you get from a Hallmark movie! It was the best coffee in Seward with the best customer service too! The owner is a gem and truly shows her passion in what she does. Shes really good at suggestions when you're having difficulty deciding (as there are many menu options to choose from! You should definitely try their signature drinks and italian sodas!) They have tables and chairs outside for you to enjoy your drink as you watch the boats and fishermen. Beautiful views! 10/10 Will be back!”

“Everything we had tonight was fabulous. We started with the GF flatbread with the curry chicken. The flatbread is made with sweet potato and it was GOOD! Hubbie had the chipotle chicken pasta and I had the miso glazed black cod. The fish was tender and the fried rice had so many vegetables it was a meal itself. The pasta also was loaded with vegetables and chicken and the chipotle sauce had a lot of flavor. We will be back for more!”
“Hands down one of the best cups of coffee in town! service is great and you never have to wait long in line.”

“Prime rib was perfect. Potatoes look unappealing but taste was ok. Asparagus was good but not enough. Halibut with blueberry sauce was a little over cooked and not much flavor for the whole plate. The spinach artichoke dip was ok. Service was spot on.”

“After eating along the waterfront in Seward, we heard some recommend Salmon Bake. It was just around the corner from the Seward KOA where we had been staying for several days. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing, the best in Seward. Service was extremely fast and the quaint decor of the restaurant was cozy and warm. Definitely recommend 1000% as the best in the area! You won't be disappointed!!”

“Randall and Nikola made us feel right at home here for our very first meal in Seward! Both my dad and I had the signature fish and chips with delightfully deep fried halibut and salmon pieces and delicious fries. House made tartar and aioli were knock-outs! Only bummer was no dessert but Randall was quick to point us towards some ice cream right down the street!”
