Beak Restaurant. In a house/hotel, and well away from the crowds. A very nice spot for lunch, away from the tourist crows nearby. Inside and outside seating.
We had a good lunch here, Blackened Lingcod open faced sandwich, with tomato and potato chips. My wife had a nice beer, “Totally Pitted Hazy IPA” and I had an Oat Stout. $8.00 each. Our sandwiches were $20.00 each. $56 plus City Tax of $3.36, or 6%. No tip as they did not accept tips. My kind of place! Locality...
Lively and casual, friendly restaurant in an old house in Sitka.
The venison sausage was excellent- juicy, spiced perfectly, with a slightly crispy exterior from the grill.
Salmon salad sandwich was described by fellow diner as “very flavorful “. The pickled kelp garnish was delicious!

If you're in Sitka, you absolutely cannot miss dining at Beak Restaurant. This hidden gem, nestled on the lower level of a local radio station, is worth the slight detour. The food is nothing short of extraordinary—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted. I had the pleasure of trying the gooseneck barnacles appetizer for the first time, and it was a delightful and unique experience. For my main course, the blackened lingcod sandwich was perfectly spicy and satisfying....
