This classic log structure built in WWII is warm and welcoming, without pretentious trappings. The breakfast is plentiful, featuring reindeer sausage and sourdough berry pancakes, along with excellent coffee enjoyed by a glowing fire in the hearth. The cinnamon rolls are a must-try, huge and reasonably priced, while the baked goods, including ginger molasses cookies, are delicious. The upstairs suite offers individual bedrooms with a shared bathroom, making it perfect for a short stay. Many guests find the beds very comfy and appreciate the quaint rustic warmth and comfort of the rooms.
