“Chill little bar with cool bartenders and a good beer selection. They do an open mic night and a karaoke night which is more entertainment then other bars in the area. They just need to get a food truck or something up there.”

It was just me coming in with more of a study-at-a-coffeshop vibe haha and they cared I could find a place to charge my phone, their communication with me was so natural and comfortable, they were never too far out of reach and also never rushing me! Such a blessed way to wrap up my night just after Church! Thank you, Chepos!!”

“Awesome, amazing, wow..... My husband and I went there for a date night, and even though it is an upscale restaurant we were pleasantly surprised it did not cost as much as we were expecting. My husband started off with the award winning Bacon Wrapped Scallops Au Feu and he said they were definitely award winning and absolutely delicious. He selected the house specialty Fish & Chips. He noted when he first bit into the fish all he could taste was the coating, but then the flavor of the fish burst in his mouth and he commented it was awesome. He also was impressed with the chips and their unique shape and flavor. I started off with the Fresh Steamed Clams and absolutely enjoyed the flavor. For my entrée I had the 8 oz. Top Sirloin with Garlic Shallot Butter topping, which was grilled to a perfect medium rare and the flavor combination of the bordelaise sauce, beef, and topping had me mmmm'ing the whole time. The sides were delicious as well. We were both impressed with the portion sizes, the atmosphere, the ambiance (they sit on a lake with phenomenal views), the whole staff, but especially our server Zach Pearson and unfortunately I didn't catch the hostesses name that assisted me, who both went above and beyond. The only slight bummer was they were out of the Burgundy Escargot. We highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Went to have dinner with the family tonight, and the doors are locked with people inside still eating. The posted winter hours on the door say they are open until 9 pm, it's currently 8pm. Tried calling and nobody answered, I guess they just didn't want our buisness.”

“The Wandering Cafe is my family's go-to lunch spot! Consistently great food, the best service, and the most amazing vibe! My kids are always asking to go here for lunch! We love to bring a board game for the kids and hang out if it's not too busy (although the food comes out so fast, we never have a chance to finish the game!) The owner is incredibly kind and a lovely girl up front is delightful! 10/10 every time. Love that they offer veg options, too!”

“Oh my gosh!!!!! Mr. Taco!!! Warm, inviting, CLEAN space. Fantastic customer service and can you say SALSA BAR! I highly recommend the jalapeño avocado sauce. I had the enchilada combo plate which was so flavorful and delicious, I had to make myself stop eating so I could have it for dinner also! Great portion sizes 👍 I thought they were great through Door Dash but hot and fresh was even better! Definitely coming back here and bringing the hubs! 😊”

“While passing through Wasilla on our visit to Alaska, I had the Italian sub (without peppers) and it was absolutely perfect. The bread had a wonderfully flaky outside while staying soft inside, the meats and cheese were fresh and flavorful, and the balance of spices, oil, and vinegar was spot on. Every bite had that classic Italian sub taste done just right. Krazy Moose Subs is a must-stop.”

“This is still my favorite pizza place over all no matter where I go. From Nevada to Washington, down in Arkansas and up here in Alaska, the pizza is always the same. Same ingredients, same quantities and same delicious quality. This store usually has a longer wait time than any one I've been to but that just tells me they're that popular here. Trying their cheese stuffed crust for the first time and it doesn't look disappointing.”

“I have been there 3 times, this evening was the last. The 1st time I ordered Pad Thai and it was delicious, fresh, the peanuts were in the middle, it was even got when I got home, 25 miles north of Willow. the 2nd, I ordered Pad Pug. it was good, not that many fresh veggies, but very tasty and fresh. Then there was today. I ordered Pad Thai again, to go as I always do. I calles the order in, it was ready in less than 10 minutes this time and it didn't feel warm. I got home and it was a dried out mess, nothing fresh. The container had a melted spot on a corner and the bottom of the container was a bright kind of orange, that happens when you put food that's in a styrofoam container in a microwave, it kind of cooks into it. There was no sauce, it was all soaked into the noodles and Styrofoam, and the noodles were dried out and chewy. The chicken was dry as was the shrimp. I was so looking forward to what I got the 1st time. Instead I got leftovers. I had been going to the Susitna Bar and Grill in Houston, but they closed for winter. For Thai, I'll just wait for them to re-open, I will never go to Pattaya again.”

Hand-cut fries, seasoned just right, crispy outside, soft inside. My younger son had a smashburger and said it wasn’t his all-time favorite, but still “pretty good.” My oldest and I went for the cheesesteak with provolone. I enjoyed mine, but my 13-year-old called it “mid” but in fairness, I don’t think he’s ever had a real cheesesteak before, and at his age he’s a tough critic and he did eat the whole thing so thats a win.

Prices were a pleasant surprise. Most food trucks overcharge these days, but Daniellos is pretty reasonable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be back for more, probably just with my 11-year-old, who actually appreciates good food like I do. 😆

“I stopped in to purchase a large assortment of pastries for the State Troopers located off Pittman Road in Wasilla because of their diligent efforts to stop the break-ins at a property n Houston. I asked the owner if she would mind discounting them since the quantity and quality of the pastries would have been quite a bit. She refused to take any money and wanted to gift them to the Troopers! This owner supports our community and we are grateful!”

“I didn’t have a good experience a couple years ago, but I’m soooooooo glad I’ve tried them again. I absolutely love their food. Biscuit and gravy(YES, YES,any time of the day) I put the gravy on their breakfast burritos, my absolute favorite(makes me cheat on my diet) is pork chilorio taco ( they are so delicious) The list goes on seriously people their food is bomb. My husband and I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Swirl Soft Serve and a Banana Split. 🍦That soft serve was impeccable. It tasted like a cold, refreshing fresh pumpkin pie with whipped cream. The flavors were rich and familiar without any chemical and additives aftertaste. 10/10 for the Pumpkin Spice Swirl Cone. 🍌My husband DEVOURED his split before I could eat half my cone so I’m pretty sure he loved it. He had been asking where to get a Banana Split in town for a while and we just happened to stumble upon it! “I recently read a disturbing review regarding a bartender at Trouhouse, Aleina. I was present during the incident reviewed. The man was volatile and no matter what took place could not be pleased. The customers sitting around him complained several times about his behavior. Aleina is a wonderful bartender and treats everyone with respect and dignity. She is very sweet and always has a positive attitude. Her personality and laugh is infectious. She did not deserve this review and I am sorry that sometimes people have bad days and seem to take their frustrations out on those undeserving.”

The reason for 4 stars is I asked if the gravy was homemade and was told yes.
When someone asks this question, they usually know what real homemade sausage gravy is. What I got was not homemade, it was country gravy out of a powder mix.
The biscuits were good. I was disappointed that the gravy was not homemade from scratch.”
