“Tried to leave a review in Alaska Foodie Catalog but they declined my post, for reason i have no clue.😕 soo you amazing ppl that are following get in the secret. Where to get Fufu and Egusi??... Triple A’s is where its at!!! I special order this deliciousness, I was expecting the egusi to come in a plastic container but nooo it came in a bucket! Came with instructions on how to eat it and all the ingredients it was made with, they even provided wet towels not just paper towels but "Towels" lol. It was very very delicious, I forgot to take pictures before we digged into it.”

“The Wandering Cafe is my family's go-to lunch spot! Consistently great food, the best service, and the most amazing vibe! My kids are always asking to go here for lunch! We love to bring a board game for the kids and hang out if it's not too busy (although the food comes out so fast, we never have a chance to finish the game!) The owner is incredibly kind and a lovely girl up front is delightful! 10/10 every time. Love that they offer veg options, too!”

“Oh my gosh!!!!! Mr. Taco!!! Warm, inviting, CLEAN space. Fantastic customer service and can you say SALSA BAR! I highly recommend the jalapeño avocado sauce. I had the enchilada combo plate which was so flavorful and delicious, I had to make myself stop eating so I could have it for dinner also! Great portion sizes 👍 I thought they were great through Door Dash but hot and fresh was even better! Definitely coming back here and bringing the hubs! 😊”

“i have been coming here since i was a kid. the BEST bread in the world — the BEST sandwiches in the world!!! i usually get the turkey club. their dressing on the veggies is a perfect ratio and you can get 4 servings of sandwich out of their large. exceptional the next day even, the bread holds up!! i was home for a couple weeks and absolutely had to bring my partner here and he agreed that the sandwiches here are an institution.

“BEST COFFEE MILKSHAKE EVERRRRRR. Seriously. I’ve tried a lot of coffee milkshakes and the mocha milkshake here at Mocha Moose is hands-down the smoothest, creamiest, and most delicious. The perfect blend of ice cream and coffee, and a touch of dark chocolate flavor. So yum. Cute little shop off one of Wasilla’s main drags.

“Cadillac Cafe is excellent. They're close to my home and have excellent food and great service. The servers are very nice and always hustling. Danielle is especially sweet and attentive to her customers. A few of my favorite dishes are pizza, burgers, broccoli, and don't forget the desserts! Give Cadillac a try you won't regret it.”

“Taco's Cancun is a perfect balance of quality, atmosphere, and value. I have been Alaskan since 2002, but came from the Pacific Northwest and was fortunately exposed to some travel and dining. Unless you are a total snob who hates people having fun doing a great job and being around happy customers, you can't go wrong at Taco's Cancun in Wasilla, Alaska. I brought a picky eater there today after a 6 day stay in the hospital and a major surgery. It was a first for her. The experience made her happy and feel better. Hands down, they are awesome. Our servers were all top notch tonight too. I need to go back so I can recall their names.

“Today was our second visit to Larsens Pizza Joint in Wasilla. They have great sandwiches, the bread is the magic and it makes everything taste so yummy. For the light eaters, you can share the sandwiches and if you want the whole thing, you beyter bring your big man appetite. The salad bar is the best, I've found in the valley, so far. Had the pizza on our first visit. Tasty toppings and the crust that makes it extra special. We like the prices and big servings. Great food at a fair price. We will be back with more family members.”

“I didn’t have a good experience a couple years ago, but I’m soooooooo glad I’ve tried them again. I absolutely love their food. Biscuit and gravy(YES, YES,any time of the day) I put the gravy on their breakfast burritos, my absolute favorite(makes me cheat on my diet) is pork chilorio taco ( they are so delicious) The list goes on seriously people their food is bomb. “I stopped in to purchase a large assortment of pastries for the State Troopers located off Pittman Road in Wasilla because of their diligent efforts to stop the break-ins at a property n Houston. I asked the owner if she would mind discounting them since the quantity and quality of the pastries would have been quite a bit. She refused to take any money and wanted to gift them to the Troopers! This owner supports our community and we are grateful!”

“You guys are my favorite coffee shop of all time, I have been out of state for a month and a half (medical reasons for my son) besides seeing my husband you guys are the second reason I’m so excited to be home (only because if I don’t say I miss my husband more he might get upset lol jk) you guys make the absolute BEST white chocolate raspberry mochas (I don’t even like white chocolate any other way) I’ve had 1 since I’ve been gone and honestly it was a major let down. “I have been there 3 times, this evening was the last. The 1st time I ordered Pad Thai and it was delicious, fresh, the peanuts were in the middle, it was even got when I got home, 25 miles north of Willow. the 2nd, I ordered Pad Pug. it was good, not that many fresh veggies, but very tasty and fresh. Then there was today. I ordered Pad Thai again, to go as I always do. I calles the order in, it was ready in less than 10 minutes this time and it didn't feel warm. I got home and it was a dried out mess, nothing fresh. The container had a melted spot on a corner and the bottom of the container was a bright kind of orange, that happens when you put food that's in a styrofoam container in a microwave, it kind of cooks into it. There was no sauce, it was all soaked into the noodles and Styrofoam, and the noodles were dried out and chewy. The chicken was dry as was the shrimp. I was so looking forward to what I got the 1st time. Instead I got leftovers. I had been going to the Susitna Bar and Grill in Houston, but they closed for winter. For Thai, I'll just wait for them to re-open, I will never go to Pattaya again.”

Heather has an incredible talent and we'll enjoy these afghans for generations as the quality will hold up so much better than anything commercially made.”

“49th State Coffee is my daily go to for my mid morning pick me up. Their Baristas offer some of the best customer service around town. From custom tailoring my drinks, to perfecting my food orders, it’s a solid place to stop by on the go!”

“I had made a mobile order for a tumbler and a drink at this location. When I arrived I was told the tumbler was not at the location and I have to contact Starbucks to get a refund. The barista, cherish, was very helpful and tried her best to help while having a long line and being the only barista there. She let me know that everyone else has gone for the day and her lead was still being trained. She called her old lead and tried to get answers. Overall good experience given the circumstance.”
