“Breakfast was so good we came back for chowder and chili after our Alaskan Sea Kayakers excursion before heading out on the tunnel. Super great, friendly staff, large portions of very fine food! Thank you!”

“Stunning water views, hot and tasty tacos and chowder and a warm, friendly ambiance and host. The place is clean and has coffee, lunch sandwiches and baked goods. The host was kind enough to modify meals to be vegetarian and even allowed us to eat other meals bought from a neighbouring cafe inside the cafe.

They had coloring pages for kids and dog biscuits.

“What’s better then out fishing your little brother all weekend! Eating fresh hot pizza on the way home while bragging about it!!! Gave these guys a call as we came into the harbor and they had four hot, easy to eat while in the truck, delicious pizzas ready for us shortly afterwards!”

A huge piece of halibut in an amazing burger in the middle of nowhere.
In our camper adventure from Mexico City to Alaska we stopped in Whittier and had a halibut burger here, as we were speechless with the first bite, we crossed the tunnel just to have another for breakfast the next day.
The server was so lovely!!”

“We took the one-hour Portage Glacier cruise and had a fantastic time—it was the perfect family outing! On the ride to the glacier, we were lucky enough to spot a mountain goat and an eagle. Our captain even brought us up close to a beautiful waterfall along the way, which was a nice surprise. At the glacier, we had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the stunning views. One highlight was when the staff scooped up a piece of floating glacier ice for everyone to see and touch—such a cool moment! The entire crew was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about our experience. The boat was clean and comfortable, with great viewing areas both indoors on the lower level and outside on the upper deck. We felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend this cruise for anyone visiting the area!”
