I was disappointed; then, someone (perhaps, he was one of the owners) gave me, I guess, a partial serving ( I think it was what was left) of the sweet potatoes. In my opinion, that was very nice; then, he said that I could still order another item from the vegetable list.”

“This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!”

“I love this place! It has a warm environment and caring staff. It’s the best place in town to get a chicken salad. The chicken is seasoned well and very tender. The dressing appears to be made from scratch. They are also very generous with their portion sizes, I can often share. If you haven’t tried this place it’s worth checking out! “The service here is amazing! I recently ordered the chicken hibachi with extra veggies and yum yum sauce to go. I didn’t check the food before I left and when I got home they gave me extra noodles instead of veggies. I messaged them on Facebook to let them know of the mistake and they offered to remake my order for free at my convenience! I went and picked up the remade order a week later and they even gave me the extra yum yum sauce and apologized again when I picked up the food. Great customer service and the food is amazing 🤤 Will definitely be back with family and friends!”

“Menu variety, staff service. We stopped by on our way to Tuscaloosa and we’re delighted by the helpfulness of the owner, the food quality, and the wide array of choices. The interior is pleasant and warm, and if we hadn’t been on the road I could see having a lovely book club meeting or a quick lunch for 2 here. Great ambiance, great service. Also such a unique and local food option vs rushing through a fast food drive-thru. We have family in the area and will absolutely be returning!”

“I LOVE this shop! I’ve been a customer for around 3 years. There are a ton of flavors of both shakes and teas. The owner and staff are fantastic and have developed friendships with so many of their regular customers. I love going in and several of them already know which tea I’m probably going to order. They have the absolute best protein shakes of any restaurant/shop I’ve been to. And the loaded teas not only have a ton of flavor options, they have caffeine level options along with add-ins such as extra hydration, collagen, etc. The shop also sells jewelry, bags, t- shirts, and other fun items. It’s fantastic to have such a great shop in McCalla!”

She prepared six meals to last the week, and my brother-in-law appreciated the gesture. It proved to be an exceptional gift! I appreciate everything, Fatimah. While I didn't take a picture, the meals were outstanding, well-prepared, and clearly labeled. ❤️”
