This place is a VIBE. My husband, Alex, and I were briefly in town and found this place online to order takeout from. From the minute we walked in to pick up our order we were amazed by the wonderful customer service....rarely am I at a loss for words....but, God. ❤️ We thought that we were just ordering dinner to take on the road with us but God had other plans! Not only did we leave with the most delicious chicken fingers, fried green tomatoes and potato salad we also left feeling incredibly blessed, encouraged and hopeful. My heart and soul were filled with love and joy from the most intimate, authentic and genuine interaction with Keke a beautiful soul that allowed herself to be used as vessel of God's GRACE AND LOVE. She poured into my husband and me straight LOVE with intention and purpose directly from a power greater than herself. I feel so blessed to have been given such a blessing at the exact moment that I needed it the most. Thank you, Keke, for living in a way that created and held a space for the presence of God to direct me back to our purpose here on earth....loving each other as He loved us. You truly touched my heart in ways that I can't describe and my husband and I are crying tears of joy in the parking lot sitting in our car while I write this review. Hunter, you were also a blessing to us both....thank you for taking the time to be fully present and engaged with us while we waited on our food. Their prices are ridiculously high for the mediocre quality food. They typically don't season anything and watch out if you order online because they almost always screw something up or leave something out. I used to eat here weekly but I won't be back.

I was just passing through on a road trip. Got the brisket plate with greens and potato salad. The sides were great, and I've never had thin sliced brisket the way they do it, but it was incredible! Service was good, and quick for a Saturday afternoon.

Not the server. Problem was the kitchen. We sat for 70 minutes waiting for our food a day it was cold and not great quality. Was highly recommended. Guess we were not locals.

We waited over an hour for our meal tonite. And the only thing we received in a timely manner was our drinks and appetizer. Waitress was pleasant. Could hear her fighting with kitchen staff over orders taking so long.
I thought i was gonna like this place as i dont come down to alex city a lot but i had to wait an hr for my food just for me to get it. It was getting late so we asked the lady if we could get in takeout boxes instead but we had to wait 30mins just for that. The server was nice but it made no sense as for the place wasnt even packed. We sat down and we see other people sit down after us and get their food straight away and not mine. I only got the shrimp boom boom. It shouldnt of took long for that at all. My parents got a bbq sandwich and country steak. An hr and a half is insane. They need to hire more cooks or something. Wont be going there again. Service is nice but the wait isnt it for me. Which upsets me also is that my food is gonna be cold and not enjoyable when hot.

Had the blooming onion to start, amazing! Patty melt was super good! Large portions. Quick service and drinks were kept filled. 5 stars! Would definitely go back and recommend to others for a BBQ dinner.
