I went into Big B Bar B Que tonight! We arrived at 6:10 and left at 8:20 with no food! The server kept saying our food was coming then at 8:20 told us that honestly she didn’t understand what happened that she had asked the kitchen why our food had not came up and there was no response and that we could wait or leave because we had been there over two hours! She was so nice! We watched a party of 30 who came in an hour after we did receive all of their food! I was very unpleased by the experience!

Someone yelled, be with you in a bit, short of help. Pork chops terrible. Tough as nails and tasted bad. 2 slices of fried green tomatoes. When you pay the tip options are 20,25,30%. How about 15%. A lady took our order and brought food. Nothing else. Don't waste your money here.

Love this restaurant!!Food is ALWAYS GOOD!HAVE A WIDE VARIETY ON THE MENU!Salads are Huge and give you large servings of ANYTHING ORDERED!Brisket sandwich was tender and cooked well.Fries are homestyle and perfect!They have a Colossal Burger that is a whole 2lb burger,it comes with a large FF,it's HUGE!FOR around $20,Well worth the price!Beautiful wood interior,a lot of taxidermy mounts which match the Rustic decor perfectly.Bathroooms even have mounts,very good decor for a BBQ . SPOTLESSLY CLEAN!Out waitress SAVANNAH, was very attentive, glasses filled constantly, friendly offered recommendations, enjoyed our conversation with her ,she was a beautiful young lady inside and out!!Unusual but refreshing to find someone as hard working and doing it with a smile and great demeanor.Visit here you won't be disappointed ❤️

I went there today to have lunch and it’s always good. My complaint is it takes longer than it used to. They need to go back to the way it was. You paid first, chose your own table and your meal was brought to you. The young woman walk past my table numerous times and failed to notice I needed a refill on my drink. I don’t ask for refills. I waited tables in 1985 in Missoula, Montana for the summer and I was trained to keep an eye on those glasses or cups and make sure they don’t run dry. Also make sure that order was right before you take it to the table. I admit they were busy at lunch today but the way they do things now have not improved anything, if anything it has made it slower and longer wait times.

I used to like Big B but today's experience left a lot to be desired. First it took ten min to seat us, then waitress couldn't remember Drink order for 3 people. Got our food, cornbread was burnt. The chicken fingers was really small and my 3rd one was only one bite, fried green tomatoes was soggy. Then my husband had to leave since we didn't get our food till 12.45, so he paid and went back to work. On the way put waitress stopped me to make sure I paid! Really I've never not paid. Gonna be awhile before I go back
Ordered the lunch with double the meat. Got the dinner with triple the meat, green tarter sauce and attitude when I had a problem with a 40 buck bill for something that was no more than 20 ordered. Upon leaving the owner and manager followed me to my truck with the owner repeatedly saying let's step out back and talk about this like men. I felt threatened and feared for my life especially since I just had open heart surgery last November.

Used to be a cool & delicious BBQ place in Alex City. Last couple of visits this summer were pretty bad. Service was SLOW, ribs & pulled pork came to table cold, beans tasted like they came from a can. No need to go back. Restaurant decor is still cool. The banana pudding was good. Otherwise, pretty lame experience. There’s significantly better BBQ in Alex City. Try somewhere else…

I grew up here and come back to visit. I was so excited about eating here because it has always been my favorite. We waited 20 minutes on drinks, which the waitress was busy but then waited another 15 minutes for them to take our order. We finally got our order in and the steaks were over cooked and they forgot our son’s meal completely. When I paid I was not given an itemized reciept, I left a 20% tip then I asked for an itemized receipt to make sure the burger was not on it because it seemed pricey. They acted weird about wanting to give us an itemized receipt. When I got the receipt the waitress had already put a 15% tip on the bill and did not advise me before I gave her another 20%. So she got a $50 tip for poor service. They locked the doors before I could go back and dispute it. If anything it should have been discounted for the poor service and forgetting a whole meal! Unfortunately, this will no longer be a stop on my way through town.
