“We visited Sonic a few weeks ago through the sonic app. When we arrived, they were slammed with orders. A car hopper named Nicholas was going above and beyond rushing the orders out quickly and correctly. Nicholas has such an upbeat positive high energy that is contagious. When he approach our car, he read out our order without missing a beat. He was super nice and made our overall experience the best ever at Sonic. Since that night, we have been occasionally visiting Sonic at that location only because we really love the service that Nicholas gives us. A couple times we didn't get Nicholas we got someone else, they are great too, but no one compares to his wonderful personality. You can clearly tell that he takes great pride in his job and he really enjoys to be there. Tonight we came prepared, and was able to bless this man with a 10 dollar tip. We wish we had more to give, because he deserves blessings on top of blessings. I hope this guy gets everything he wants in life. If you ever get a pleasure to meet him, you will definitely see what I am talking about! Sonic please give this man a raise!!The food was great too!“
“Mostly the food as well the service is good and the staff their nice and polite Overall, Experience is good I just don’t understand why do some of the servers or from what I was told by someone “car hop” server people that bring out the food expect a tip. I will tip and I try to tip well if I’m going out for lunch or dinner and sitting down being served, I don’t know if they are preparing the food but I’m sure they have cooks for that because they only bring the order. I went to a sonic a couple days ago and I paid for my order and I was supposed to get change back and the young lady seem a bit bothered that I wanted my change which was almost $10 I told her yes ma’am I will like my change back, she then said “oh I will have to go and get your change”I thought they carried the money around their waist, I think for future reference, sonic should make it clear that customers are not obligated nor required to give the people bringing out the food tips. It is a courtesy and being polite but ONLY if someone is able to pay extra.“
“Disappointed in the service. A milkshake filled too full, dripping down the side, and had to hold it out the window until we could call for napkins. Fries were spilled out on top of the 1 napkin they had given me. But my husband and I did get one piece of peppermint candy to share. (?)“
