“Sushiya Japanese Restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that keeps me coming back with my coworkers for lunch regularly? Youngju, our server, consistently provides excellent service with a friendly demeanor, enhancing our dining pleasure Having explored nearly every item on the lunch menu, my top picks are the spicy tuna poke bowl and the shrimp teriyaki & chicken teriyaki✨️ The flavors are exquisite, and the presentation is consistently impressive. My boss, a fan of the lunch special, particularly favors the sushi deluxe? His enthusiasm is evident as he claims it to be a lunchtime delight? Beyond lunch, the restaurant extends its culinary prowess to dinner with the sashimi deluxe, a dish my boss raves about. According to him, the sashimi deluxe at night is nothing short of fantastic. The freshness and quality of the ingredients shine through, making it a standout choice for those seeking a remarkable dining experience?Overall, Sushiya Japanese Restaurant earns high marks for its diverse menu, impeccable service, and consistently delectable offerings? Whether you're a sushi aficionado or prefer teriyaki bowls, this establishment caters to a variety of tastes, making it a go-to spot for satisfying Japanese cuisine cravings?“
“Walked into the restaurant and stood for 10-15min without being acknowledged. I was craving sushi, but I walked out as the ghost I felt like. Sucks because I love the sushi from this place, but if this is what the service is going to be like......“
“I’ve been eating at this place for a while now, and I love it!!! The people are nice, and sweet whenever I go there. I always get their chicken, and shrimp bowl with 2 yum yum sauces with a large fruit punch. It’s a good combination, and trust me… it is.“
“The stone pot is delicious, but the seasoning is a bit salty.Jeyuk is just okay to eat.The staff regularly checks for lack of side dishes. It's nice to have more. It's friendly and reminds me of Korean food.I think it would be nice to go and eat.“
“I ordered the sashimi and nigiri with a California roll for like $14 or so. Very good and fresh for the price. I've been to Sushi Hero and Fuji recently to try both. Fuji is better quality by far while Sushi Hero is more quantity. I am going to Fuji Sushi when I want sushi :)“
“I was in the area Monday after a round of Golf at Grand National and had a taste for some general chao chicken. Food was great and good portion for the money. Also couldn't ask for a better waitress! Sadie was wonderful. A place where I felt welcomed, and at home. I look foward to visiting again next time I'm in Auburn competing on the Golfweek Tour.“
“We came off the highway for lunch and found this place by trusting the reviews. We have to add our 5 stars to help future travelers find this gem! The parking lot was large enough for our truck pulling a trailer. The food was absolutely delicious. In our party, two of us were unfamiliar with Thai food but had no problem navigating the menu. We ordered off the lunch specials: Panang Curry, miso soup, Garlic Beef, and Sesame Chicken. And the Thai tea, which was excellent.Service was friendly, frequent and helpful. We’ll be sure to come by again.Parking: Large enough parking lot for RVs, and trucks pulling utility trailers.“
“Popped in for dinner on a weeknight - seated quickly and after I took some time looking at the menu (there are so many yummy options!) I decided on beef bulgogi. Seemed like not even 5 minutes passed and the staff swiftly brought me my food, speedy service! The bulgogi was fresh and had the perfect amount of heat. Enjoyed this dinner experience and I look forward to being back to try more dishes!“
“Food was great service was excellent and my daughter was pleased with the dinner she chose for her birthday!Price wise I was worried after reading reviews but it honestly is about the same as all the others in the area. Our meal was $111 tonight at other restaurants that are similar locally we spend $100 to $115. Food quality is great and the habitch task better then others. We will definitely be back. If your on the fence about trying this place just bite the bullet and do it, you will be glad you did.Kid-friendliness: They talked to the kids more then the Adults and made my daughter feel special for her birthday.“
“Wife and I opted for Kabuki for Valentine’s Day dinner. We chose to sit around the hibachi to watch the teppanyaki chef cook our food. Always fun to watch them cook your meal. We order a Salmon sushi roll for an appetizer. Our entrees were Lobster & Scallops and Filet Mignon & Chicken. Food was great - we’ll definitely make a return trip. ???“
“This is one of my favorite places for sushi. The restaurant is a lot of things all in one. It could be considered a romantic spot because of the lighting and atmosphere, but I'm also not afraid to bring my child here. The food is really good and the service is even better. They have a large variety of sushi rolls plus bentonite boxes and bowls, which are my favorite. This has become a regular favorite place of mine to dine. It's a bit on the pricey side for my wallet, but it's about the same as the others. I definitely recommend this spot as a place to stop for a bite to eat or to try some sushi. ❤️“
