Waffle House in Bessemer

“First, it's Waffle House, so you know what to expect. This is my go to Waffle House. Not everytime has been a great experience as far as service is concerned. Most of the time it's the same waitress who will bring me my drink and food, then never come back. I have actually got up to refill my own drink, she just sat there and looked at me. With the bad waitress aside, the food is always great. I usually order pork chops and eggs with regular hash browns.

That is what I ordered on this visit and it was awesome. The pork chops were a thinner cut and were seasoned to perfection. The eggs were fluffy and tasty and the hash browns cooked just right. My waitress was excellent. She kept my drink filled and genuinely cared about me being there. The cook needs some social skills but as long as he keeps cooking the food like he did today, he doesn't have to acknowledge me when I thank him for a great meal.“

If in the area they are pretty darn good and ratings are in the 90's the employees should make way more than they do when they are good like that.“

“Super friendly service, and the fiesta omelette was perfect. It's been my WH go to for many years, and they nailed it. Great coffee too, I just love WH on a road trip, because you never know what interesting person is gonna serve you next. Consistently do a great job of staffing, I'll always love the waffle House!“
