“Easily the best bagels in Birmingham. I have been looking for a good bagel shop since I moved here from Michigan and this is it. The sandwiches are well portioned and made to order. They also have flavored cream cheese that they make in house that are outstanding to pair up with a toasted bagel.“

“I’m from the northeast and was shocked to find a legit, high quality bagel shop in the Alabama airport. The bagel was soft with a nice crunch to the outside, eggs were a solid portion for the price and the bacon was generous. Staff overheard I was looking for ketchup and proactively sought me out after finding some in the back. Very enjoyable sandwich and great value for the money.“

“My mother in law is a patient right now on 3rd floor west. She had a heart attack and I can honestly say everyone, and I mean everyone, from nurses to house keeping to aids have been absolutely amazing! Super sweet and never have to ask for anything. It’s just done. I have said more than once this is the “Chick-fil-A” of hospitality for hospitals! I have sat with a lot of elderly in hospitals and I can honestly say this has been the best experience and patient care I have seen in an extremely long time and she’s been her for 4 days so it’s not just been because it was a short stay! “I’m not a coffee drinker. But a local chef(shout out to Whitney Simone!) I follow and patronize raved about Rochelle’s grit bowl, so I decided to try breakfast here. I wished that it was advertised that breakfast was sold here because I always thought this place was just a coffee spot. Anyway, I was sooooo impressed with the cuteness of the decor inside. It felt very cozy and intimate. Soft music played in the background. I love the branding on the cups and other merchandise for purchase. Upon entering, my friend and I were greeted warmly. We placed our orders and found a place to sit. The seats were comfy and a bright red that matched the theme of it also being a lounge. There was a little free library where you could take home a free book. There were several small tvs available to watch. Our food came out after a short wait. Yall….my grit bowl was absolutely splendid! The grits were creamy and perfect- not too thick, not too thin. The meats were delicious as were the eggs. My friend enjoyed his pancakes but also wanted to try the grit bowl after hearing me rave about mine. After he devoured his, he agreed that it was just as good as I told him it was. My peach smoothie came in this cute little sealed cup with the branding on it. I love a business that doesn’t skip on the branding! I enjoyed my experience here 100% and I’m even thinking of returning tomorrow morning for breakfast! One thing I would improve: I hope the owners consider advertising that they sell breakfast as well. Folks like me that may not be coffee drinkers but who love breakfast will gladly patronize the business…if we know they sell more than coffee. Overall, this place earned my 5 stars.“

“First time coming to the original Crestline Bagel location, and it's a different vibe than the others! Very much a New York deli-style cafe, a bit spartan and with all the machinery and ovens open to view. Came at about 12:30 on a Saturday, and while the staff were all friendly and helpful, there were a number of items in the case without signs and our order took a bit longer than we expected given how few people were there when we arrived. They were also out of potato salad, unfortunately.

Ordered a chicken pesto sandwich, a hot honey turkey sandwich, an apple cinnamon muffin, and a lemon poppyseed muffin. The sandwiches were both great, made fresh with high quality ingredients, though didn't overly notice the goat cheese that the pesto chicken supposedly comes with. The muffins were good as well, and large!“

“Every single item I tried here was delicious. I was visiting Alabama for about a week and came here twice!

First time I went I purchased a chai tea latte with oat milk, the chicken pesto sandwich on a bagel, and a cinnamon roll. The chai tea wasn't the best I've had but it was good! The chicken pesto sandwich was delicious and that bagel was heavenly.

I've never bitten into a bagel and knew immediately that texture was what I've been looking for in a bagel forever. It has a soft but slightly crusty outside (that will not tear up your mouth) and the perfect soft chewy and fluffy inside. It was like a bagel cloud and their bagels are pretty big!!

Now the cinnamon roll only made me even more grateful to have had the pleasure of coming here. It reheated very very well, it was soft, it was light, it was fluffy, perfect texture and the flavor was amazing without being heavy. Any time I have a Cinnabon I get a stomach ache, but a Crestline cinnamon roll had me feeling happy without putting a rock in my stomach.

The second time I came I simply got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and a chocolate muffin. I really wanted to enjoy the bagel itself and that was absolutely the best cream cheese bagel I've ever had and only reinforced the praises I had the day previous.

The chocolate muffin was also amazing. Soft, moist, chocolatey, just absolutely perfect. Reminds me of a chocolate muffin I had in Japan once that left me yearning for more.

Overall, an amazing cafe and I'm sure all of their items are just as good as the ones I've tried. It doesn't seem like they miss and I will be chasing the feeling that these items gave me until I am able to visit Alabama again.“

“I know it’s New Year’s Eve and hard to find people who will actually work but there is one lady in here at the homewood location who is expected to take front order, to go order, and online order and she has TO MAKE EVERYTHING TOO? That’s just unacceptable if you couldn’t find more employees to work a manger or owner should be here working! It’s unacceptable! Do better“
