The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Birmingham, Alabama

This was a very corny show. We left as soon as dinner was served. The chicken was horrible. Cookies were good. The acting was very very poor.

I had a great time with friends, also celebrating a birthday. We laughed so hard. Such a nice way to put a twist on the same old same ole dinner.

The website said that this event would be suitable for children twelve years of age and older. I'm glad that my wife and I did not bring any children.

There's a lot of adult language and a lot of sexual innuendo. The actors portraying the detectives were inappropriately dressed.

My wife and I left before the event was finished.

So they lost my interest about 15 minutes in for the price of the ticket they should have been a little more food and refills on your drinks I didn’t even get any tea with my dinner. The clues did not even make sense and you had to have a phone the codes didn’t work and they gave a prize but for what???? with what was being said by the 2 girls that were the detectives they were constantly moving around and that made it hard to hear. I was lost didn’t have a clue of what was going on.
The one that was shot was a horrible actor and the one who was the murder was up clearing off tables like she worked there smh….. For the price I don’t recommend, it’s 3 1/2 hours of my life I can’t get back!!!!

I took my daughter for her 18th birthday. We had so much fun and the food was good. The cast did an amazing job of keeping everyone involved and laughing. I can't recommend this experience enough

I went for my birthday on the 29th! The food was good and the show was fun and interactive! I had lots of laughs and one of the best birthdays ever. I 100% recommend.

I haven’t laughed that hard in SO LONG!! The “lead detectives” had us cracking up and almost rolling out of our seats, the host was so lovely and the ending was great. Also the prize isn’t to bad either if you win!! 😊🙌🙌 absolutely loved it and will be coming back!

The food, while not bad, didn't stand out. The show was no where near what I expected. There were funny parts the overall feel was very amateurish. The service was great except, for the price per ticket, I expected full service that included drink refills.

We went on Jan 6. Dress code said no jeans-many had on jeans.The clues are given with the QR codes so you will need a phone. We did not take ours, so this was a problem because you are totally lost without the clues. There was no microphones so the two ladies went from the front of the room to the back fairly screaming to be heard. I feel we missed a lot by not being able to hear.They give out a gift at the end of the show. Not sure how they determine who gets it. One of the couples at our table solved the mystery but was not recognized. The food was delicious but tea was not served until the meal was nearly over. It was a fun night, but you gotta be able to hear and you do want a drink with your meal.

We had a tremendous time at the hilarious, fun Dinner Detective show. The actors were so enthusiastic, over the top, and delightful. Dinner was also excellent. Somehow, the Dinner Detective food creators made green beans taste good. That's a different kind of mystery.

Parking: Parking is so close to the venue. Easy walking distance.

My husband and I did this for our 28th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. We laughed so much and the actors were fabulous. The people we shared a table with were great and made the whole experience that much better. The food was delicious!!I would definitely do this again
