We love Blue Sushi! It's seriously the best sushi around. I literally crave the Tidal Wave and end up ordering it to go for lunch at least once or twice a month. You definitely need to have a reservation which can be a little frustrating, but it's worth it. RJ was our server last night and was very knowledgeable about the menu. One of our favorite date night spots.
We had a wonderful date night Valentines experience. The food was all as good as it gets. Hot rock beef was especially fun and tasty. I had the hot poppers roll along with shishito peppers and the coconut crab soup. All winners. Can't wait to go back. Our server was about the best I've had. Delightful and very informative.
Fantastic place to eat. Reserved two weeks in advance, had to wait around 10 minutes for a table to be flipped so we could eat. Food was fantastic, if not a bit underwhelming in the portions. Overall great atmosphere and service as well.
I love this place!! I always come during happy hour with my husband. My favorite is the lion roll
Excellent food and choices. Happy Hour menu is amazing! Service excellent. Music is very loud so difficult to have a conversation at the table. But overall excellent experience.
Heard how amazing this place was but all in all felt like Sushi you could get from a hibachi place in most strip malls anywhere, you are paying for the ambiance and what I'm sure is a crazy high rent in the Summit. I requested a drink for happy hour, I was told they are out of it, and also a food item we asked they were also out of. Server was great but the rest of the staff felt like a mess, glad we experienced Blue Fish, but will not be returning.
The portions are small, quality of the food is good, but service was slow. The name of the restaurant includes sake, so you would only hope that there would be a lot of saki options on the menu, but hot sake‘s no there was basically none and our server was not very knowledgeable about the different sake's on the menu. We ordered two different sake options to try. Neither one was very good at all compared to what we've had at other places. I asked for nothing spicy on the roll that I ordered and there was some fresh pepper inside that gave me the worst heartburn ever. I think this was our last time at this establishment.
They were out of several items we wanted to order. The cucumbers tasted old and soggy. The restaurant was very dusty.
Music is a bit loud. You have to talk really loud to the person next to you. Truffle salmon is amazing
Blue Sushi used to be our favorite but the last two times we have eaten there, the service has been horrible. We waited 45 minutes for 4 sushi rolls. It was ridiculous. So sad how this restaurant has gone done hill over the past few months.
Restaurantji Recommends
Great food and atmosphere, very enjoyable experience, very clean and attractive, great food at good value. Go there!
we have dined here many times. Unfortunately, the music is always so loud as if you're in a party club, but this is a restaurant! Extremely stingy on the sushi fish probably less than an ounce on my entire wall and usually more abundant in beefier size cuts. My wife's tuna tower was not much tuna more rice quite disappointing. Service is always good.
Reservation for a booth at 6:45 didn't get seated till 7:10 and did not get the booth asked for!
Piero was our waiter and was fantastic. He made our 30th anniversary dinner very special. He made some great recommendations for us. The sushi boat presentation for my wife's sushi was cool. The steak on the hot stone was a highlight. We look forward to going back again.
Excellent sushi, great service. Lively atmosphere that is a little bit louder than I would recommend for a relaxing evening. Would definitely go back.
