“Bay Leaf is a lovely place for dinner! We have come for restaurant week for several years now and love it every time. Every year at restaurant week they come up with a new menu, which is a rare treat in Birmingham! We were blessed to visit on a cool rainy weeknight recently and the dining room was very quiet with excellent service. I'm continually impressed by the soft lighting, comfortable seating, and charming playlist! Don't skip out on the cocktail list, there are several very interesting variations on familiar favorites. Every dish has been delightful, even those that are too spicy for my tolerance - thankfully my better half adores heat! They will tone it down for you if asked, of course.Parking: Street parking is available but the street is busy. You're better off looking for parking in the lots behind.“
“This place was amazing!! The vegetable samosas were an incredible appetizer, and this was some of the best Chicken Tikka Masala I’ve ever had. The service was really good here, and our waiter was extremely kind and genuine. Really enjoyed the experience!“
“My mate and I have ordered veg spring rolls, garlic naan, Malai Kofta, Gobi Manchurian, Dal Tadka, and vegetable steamed Momo. This was our first time trying Sitar, and we went there last night, close to closing. The food was really good, and the service was nice too. It's a small restaurant with limited “

“Indian food is not my typical go to but I decided to try a bit at this food hall. One of the specials was butter chicken so I chose that along with an order of samosas. The samosas had good flavor..a bit thick for my liking but the spice level was great and the dipping sauces were tasty.Butter chicken was super flavorful. I needed a bit more rice...rice to chicken ratio a bit off. Lol. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing. Overall it was enjoyable meal“
“The food was incredible! They have a unique variety that should give everyone something they like, or at least something they'd try. I had Key Wot for the first time, delicious. This place is more than worth the visit.Dietary restrictions: Does not use peanut oil“
