We absolutely love Jawanda’s! We try and make it every year at least for thanksgiving. It is totally worth the wait and a chance to meet Jawanda who is super friendly and inviting. I encourage everyone to stop by. It’s kind of a Birmingham staple. Don’t forget to try out those mini pies as well! The coconut is my favorite. Thanks to the entire team that keeps this place up and running. It’s always nice and clean inside and the atmosphere makes you really feel at home!...
Im Atrain visiting Alabama for work and was recommended to try Jawanda's. Had several different pies and all was amazing. I highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty sweets. Service was outstanding. Thank you so much. God bless.
The sweet potato pie isn't my style and it's not that good to me its not nasty but the nutmeg was just to much for me but that peach cobbler is on point 100% and that pound cake is heavenly will definitely return for those two items anytime I'm in the area. The customer service is awesome as well from JaWanda and the lady that was there last Friday ? and just because of the customer service alone I would return. Please go check this place out I'm sure you will...
