I went yesterday the food was just ok half the bar food looked dried up they had can greens way too many stems way to expensive but they amount of food for 20 bucks was not bad a dessert was around 7 or 8 bucks that’s too much for a slice of cake the had great customer service I should had went to Ruth’s or Simone’s kitchen they was clean tho nice atmosphere them yams looked horrible
I have been going here for years and I used to love it. The past few times I have been, the food has been salty or vinegary. The guy at the front was really nice! But it doesn’t look like they clean in there regularly. The turnip greens taste good but I’m afraid they may be canned greens. That would be highly disappointing to go to a soul food restaurant and receive canned greens but I could be wrong. I hope they read these reviews and try to make a change because I would...
I had the fried chicken, Mac& cheese with cabbage and the key lime cake! Absolutely soulful!! Staff was extremely kind! Happy Resurrection Sunday! My family & I are coming back!
