Our waitress did an amazing job. She gave excellent suggestions and we loved our meal. It was a little cold but that is to be expected in a hotel.

We ate here several times during our stay at the Birmingham Marriott. Our breakfasts were excellent; with a special shout-out to Wanda for making wonderful offerings (eggs Benedict, omelets, etc. ), and providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We also enjoyed one late evening shrimp cargot appetizer, which was quite tasty. All and all, this location is a solid option, if one wants to dine-in at the hotel.

This is located inside the Birmingham Marriott. I ordered the Mediterranean Hummus which came with naan, black olives, and feta cheese. Nothing exciting, but it was good- no complaints. I also had the Vegetable Pizza. Again, not very exciting, but solidly good. I took my order to my room, so I can't speak much about the service, but my order was ready quickly, and the bartender was nice when I picked up my order. It's a little on the spendy side for what you are getting, but it's good if you are staying at the hotel and don't feel like driving elsewhere for a meal and drinks.

A really nice space - attractive, roomy, well designed. Very friendly staff, everyone was helpful, approachable, made for a fun visit.Good selection of draft beers. Liked the cheesesteak. The roll was fresh, meat had a nice crunch on the edges from the grill, tasty veggies. Only drawback was how little meat was on the cheesesteak. I was honestly kind of hungry after eating it. I commented to the wife that I probably could have eaten a second one. Perhaps there's an option for double meat I could try next time. Came with house made chips. I'm a sucker for house made chips and these were very nice. Wife had a fusion bowl and seemed to like it. We'll be back at the bar on our next visit.

I had the Korean cauliflower dish and it was very good! It was very similar to a boneless chicken wing in a spicy Asian sauce with a side of kimchi. Although good, I thought it was a little expensive.

Nate was awesome and made sure that I was happy! I always love staying here…the food is good as is the service. Always nice when traveling for work. The best thing about traveling is finding consistancy and that is what you get here.

We were in town for a sports tournament and our kids loved the hotel, the pool, and the location! The hotel is conveniently located next to amazing shopping and restaurants, was easy to travel to our sports venue, and the kids loved coming back to use the hotel pool. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Everything about my stay was excellent - the location, the staff, the room and cleanliness, and the food and beverage. I would definitely recommend the Birmingham Marriott for your stay - business or pleasure!

Nice hotel, clean rooms and nice staff however, if you plan on staying there on the weekends, you better ask if they are having any kids events or large kids sports teams staying. We did not and the young kids took over this hotel from running all over to include the restaurant area, from room to room, from floor to floor and no parents sitting around stopped the dozens of kids out of control during night or day. We even watched hotel staff try to stop the kids but had no luck. Hope this helps.

If the service continues like it did last week, this is our new go-to hotel whenever I have to get up early for a flight. I've given up on the downtown hotels. From start to finish, the staff here was so kind. Joseph was a superb bartender. The cheeseburgers were delicious. The front desk person was kind, too. The room was clean and quiet. And we were to the airport in less than 20 minutes. Thanks for everything.

As Marriott Titanium members, we are pretty easy and low maintenance. We stay at Marriotts for a reason…they are generally safe, clean and convenient, in addition to treating their high level customers with great service. Upon checking in Friday night, we were given breakfast coupons. Free breakfast was what we were told. No conditions, just free breakfast. This is a very typical perk of being a Titanium level customer. It has never been an issue and we always tip the server generously. When we inquired about the concierge level, we were told it was closed on the weekends and given 2 more breakfast coupons. Saturday morning after we finished eating from the breakfast, we were given a bill for $24 for 4 people. I expected a bill for the 1 off buffet item ordered only. The server informed us that there was an up charge if you ate anything other than bread and cereal. Upon inquiring at the front desk, I was told sorry…nothing we can do. It’s a policy of Columbia Sussex, the group that owns the hotel. It’s not about the money, although for $26.40 I would have gone to Starbucks for better coffee and quicker service. The practice is deceptive when your front desk doesn’t clearly say “Here’s your breakfast coupon for cereal and bread”.
