The wait time is atrocious! My waitress has made it a point not to make me a priority which includes forgetting about me completely. And the song Hotel California is currently playing through their speakers and it's exactly what this dining experience feels like!
The server was amazing & the atmosphere was good, but the food was Way Below what the recent reviews were. At least in mine and my daughters opinions! I got the Shrimp Solo with Noodles, the noodles tasted like way too soft Spaghetti noodles with absolutely NO Flavor. Same with the rest of the dishes!!!
The sushi here was delicious! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Great quality and a nice atmosphere — I’ll definitely come back!
Great Spot
Decent service but the sushi is incredibly bland, the only flavor is in the sauce they douse everything in. I'd rather go to publix.
First time there and really enjoyed it. First time eating sushi. My grandson talked me into eating there. Wasn't disappointed.
Had the wontons, Rock N Roll roll and yellow Finn tuna sashimi, excellent! Good beer too 😁👍
Empty on a Saturday evening when everything else is busy. So interesting to walk into a sushi (Japanese) restaurant and only Latinos are staffing it. That was a first, but maybe it’s common in Alabama.
The interior is worn. The menus were worn and dirty, though the album cover menu design was probably very cool when they first opened & the menus looked nice.
The crab appetizer was small but good.
The sushi rolls pretty much all contain shrimp tempura. That made our decisions difficult since we wanted to try different rolls but it essentially came down to “which shrimp tempura roll should we get?”
The rolls were above average but again - they lacked variety. They were rolled well and the rice was above average. The food tastes better than grocery store sushi.
I might return for takeout but wouldn’t eat in since it didn’t feel as clean as it could’ve been. Fresh menus (ones that are not peeling and that do not have visible food residue on them) would be a big improvement.

I am extremely disappointed in management here! I came in around 8:48pm and was ready to order my Togo at 8:53pm, yet when I go to place my order the server wants to get my food in but the manager stops her saying how we stoped serving and doing Togo food at 8:45pm. Now my biggest concern was why are the doors still open and why do the store hours say closing time at 9pm if you can no longer be served at 8:45?? Make it make sense, I’m so frustrated and dissatisfied with the way things went down, I can understand it being late but however that does not justify turning around a good paying customer because it’s closer to close time. I saw everyone closing stations down but that’s not how it works you close stations down after you close not during regular hours!!!??♂️

The atmosphere was great, server was nice, the food just wasn't very good, we couldn't finish it. My partner found theirs to be just in general rather disappointing. One of my rolls was alright but nothing to write home about, the other wasn't great to start but one singular piece had a very odd crunch that none of the other pieces had which was rather unsettling.
Frankly with how hyped up we were to try this place and with how everyone talked about it, just generally disappointed.
Singo was fun though, announcer had a great energy

Went here for lunch for a business meeting! Food came out very quick and staff was very attentive! No complaining from me about this place! My boss liked it so much he put in several to go orders for other employees before we left and we still were in and out in less than an hour!
