I booked a reservation on OpenTable the day of our visit and checked that it was our anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess with a happy anniversary, and when we left with another happy anniversary. When she showed us to our table, there was a handwritten card wishing us happy anniversary, and heart-shaped confetti across the table. Granted, this was a Monday at 4:00 pm so the crowd was slim. Alain (from France!) was the most attentive server. The ribeye was cooked perfectly to medium, the wedge salad was probably the best I've ever had ( the balsamic drizzle did it), Fleming's potatoes (AKA au gratin) were rich and delicious, and the sautéed mushrooms with whole garlic cloves were a great finishing touch. Alain brought us boxed truffles to take home. What a great meal and experience!

All was great until one of our steaks came out way over cooked. He wanted rare with warm inside. It came out with no pink. Totally over cooked. They brought him another steak cooked right but with no seasoning. They did not charge us for the steak but disappointing.

This Fleming's location could benefit from better management and server training. After bringing us the wrong glass of wine, our server (Summer) brought out very inconsistent levels of wine pours. Also, the $80 seafood platter appetizer was missing the mignonette sauce for the oysters. When they finally brought it, there was no spoon. Attention to detail is expected at a high end steakhouse like Fleming's. I was told the manager would stop by to check on us given the issues with the wine. That never happened. Why? They were not busy that night. Where is the service??

The service was very short and bland in conversation The food was honestly not to standard of past experience. Flemmings potato's was charred on the top layer pretty bad and the steak was over cooked half way through it.

We booked reservations for my birthday. We chose this place because we considered it “upscale.” I loved that we were seated at our reservation time and they did have a birthday card and confetti at our table which made me happy! We sat there for at least 10 min before another waitress came and said she was helping out our waitress. We ordered drinks and didn't get them until 15 min later as the “bar is busy!” I observed how it was at least 6 tables with just water also. When our waitress finally came they were out of almost EVERYTHING due to Valentine's Day! Valentine's Day was Wednesday and we booked for Friday ! Valentine's Day is the same day every year. As a restaurant they know that is a busy day. We settled for entrees and sides that were left. Steak was not cooked at correct temperature, Mac and cheese was just sauce. Drinks were okay! We will not be back.

First time to Fleming's and we were NOT disappointed. Stephanie our waitress did an outstanding job as well as the other staff members. The Onion Rings were hot and fresh as well as the French Onion Soup. The steaks and side were very good and I would recommend the Filet. Thanks for a great evening

In my opinion, it is one of the best steakhouses in Birmingham. I have had the ribeye before and on my last visit I had the filet mignon. The service was great. We would go back again.

A little pricey (our bill was $370 plus tip for 2 adults: 2 salads, 2 steaks, 2 sides, 1 shared dessert (and 1 bottle of wine = $80). Literally everything was spectacular: excellent service, delicious food, romantic ambiance, and the atmosphere was quiet. This is the perfect place for a dinner date or special celebration.

Disappointed in the Sommelier... she didn't cut the capsule off the bottle. She just broke through it and poured the wine. Our server seemed, pensive and nervous. Been here over 20 times, worst service yet.

Fleming's remains my favorite restaurant in the “special occasions” category. Service is always consistently excellent and the food is always phenomenal. Great place to share a wonderful dining experience with family and friends.

Overall good. We had a party of 7. I was the host and my steak was not good. I sent back the first one and the second one was no better. I am also not one to ever send food back. Otherwise good.

The turkey was dry. The beans were hard. The dessert was pitiful. My wife got cheesecake and it was huge. I got carrot cake and it was maybe three bites. Pathetic for 265.00 I payed. Will not be back.

The food, service, drinks overall were excellent this time. In the past there's been a service issue, however this has greatly improved and the service was excellent. The Fleming's service that we were originally use to was delivered.

Our meal and service was excellent! The ambience of this restaurant is one of the best we've encountered. $200 checks are now $300 which is just reflective of cost inflation due to poor government spending which caused inflation.
