The host I guess didn’t know what they were doing as they told me the lunch menu was available and it wasn’t and also shared the strip would be served and it wasn’t. Was really disappointed by that. Also sad people don’t carry coke 0s. Waitress was nice and the steak and eggs I had ended up being good but really came for the strip. Disappointed by that mostly and the lack of knowledge of hosts.

I had a 5-star experience yesterday but, in less than 24 hours, my rating sadly dropped. I came for lunch here - the food (the eggs benedict) was good, and the server was very pleasant. The next morning, because of just how much I liked it here, I brought my husband back with me. I called 20 minutes ahead of time, asking if they could seat 2 and alerting that we were on the way. The host was vague, saying they definitely welcome walk-ins but can’t promise anything. That’s fine and totally fair; no problem!!! When we arrived, I told the host that I called and here we were. She pointed to the bar and the seats outside. I told her we were interested in the seats inside, to which she didn’t say anything and just stood there. There was no eagerness to seat us by communicating an approximate wait time for an indoors table (something a skilled host should be able to estimate) or any enthusiasm about retaining our business at this establishment. She let us walk away without any attempt to work with us and so we went to Frothy Monkey, where we received excellent and warm service! Now, the host looked quite young, so she just might have not had enough experience in customer service. That said, I do expect excellent service and would like to feel that the business is eager to receive us and our hard-earned dollars. It seems like in other low reviews here, others have complained about lackluster customer service as well. I will be happy to increase my rating if I ever dine here again and have a more positive experience, but, meanwhile, I would encourage the manager to consider this feedback and upskill the staff who have the very first point of contact with a customer.

The lunch menu was nothing special at all. I had a burger and fries, Caesar salad and a rocky road for dessert. I came for the brunch and found out they only do brunch in Saturday and Sunday. I which that was stated on the website. I will come back one day for the brunch only!

This is a very special restaurant. The dishes are obviously crafted by someone who is both talented and dedicated to their craft, and the small wine list is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Every wine is exceptional and well matched to the style of cuisine as well as being an exceptional value. If I lived here I would be visiting every week!

Came for lunch on a Monday. Place filled up. We had the tartar app, the homemade stuffed pork pasta, and the salmon entree. Everything was fresh, composed, and had complexity. Will return!
