The young ladies working were very nice and knowledgeable about the flavors. The lemon, lavender, honey and goat cheese gelato is amazing enough that I had to write a review for it. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
I had gelato from here twice in one day. No I was not staying close by but 20 minutes away. 100% worth it. I had to end my visit abruptly and the thought of not getting more gelato from here almost brought me to tears. Go get you some.

I don’t even know another place to get gelato in Birmingham, but Cannella seems to have a pretty consistent menu. Haven’t seen too many seasonal flavors, but I’m impressed with how creamy the lemon sorbet is without any dairy it. If you go there and ask how they do it, they might just tell you their secret!
