This is the best waffle house around here and maybe just the best I've been to. I have been coming here for years and even though the place has been renovated and most of the staff changed it has consistently had the best food and service of any waffle house in the birmingham area. Even when I'm up in birmingham i'll usually drive down to this one when I want waffle house, it's worth it.

I asked for the hash browns to be golden brown on each side & after a reminder they were & I loved it. Two eggs over medium were cooked perfectly on my Texas toast sandwich. Nice job.

These people that work here move like a well oiled machine!! It was insane the activity in the kitchen right in front of you!! The food is definitely made to order, as fresh as you can get it, there's NO HEAT LAMPS in this place. Total transparency. Good breakfast at a reasonable price, they give LOTS of food. Very generous portions. Fun times for these firsties!
